For this event last summer in Tuscany we created a long passage way between two areas at this Palazzo in the countryside designing an avenue of large potted cypress trees plus clusters of aromatic plants lavender and delphinium. Never tired of coming back again and again to this most precious source of inspiration and good taste. The Sir John Soane home. This most exquisite of architects from the Regency period and a gargantuan collector of Grand Tour moulds and gesso replicae from antiquity in a delirium of Horror Vacui, but perfectly and mathematically placed, lit and displayed, creating one of the most fascinating of interiors in the world. Toguether with another great admirer of and full of passion for this jewel. My 20th time probably in many years visiting and never tired of it. It’s always like the first time.

A throw back. We can never forget this stellar dining installation for DIFFA. Designers for AIDS 23 years ago 2000. We mixed humble materials like tinfoil paper and paper foam core walls with beautiful and priceless Grand Tour Bronzes, China, antique and silverware and a marble bust of King Charles I. It was an homage to the ingenuity of the British era of the Bright Young Things in the period between wars. Stephen Tenant. Cecil Beaton. Coming off of the Sustainable 365 Chile Walk-Around Tasting only six months earlier on June 29, 2022 at Briza on the bay, we were personally invited to revisit Chile's wine country at Chile's Mosaic of Sustainability Miami on November 17, 2022 Rubell Family Museum. This Chilean wine sequel meant for wine trade professionals only served to reinforce Chile's dedication to sustainability and innovation with intent and purpose. Celebrating a mosaic of wine and food, Chile successfully created a rich tapestry of tantalizing visuals that enlightened the senses through the aromas, flavors and textures of their lower yield, higher quality vinos, evoking intensity through the art of wines, 50+ sustainable wines showcased to the industry in an artful setting paired with catering by Le Basque Catering and Production.
