i am jamaica born, florida raised, & d.c. living; however, i plan & design events throughout the us & abroad.

i am passionate about designing refined and authentic experiences for my clients: the style mavens. the forward thinkers. the well traveled. the go-against-the-grainers (yes, i totally made that up but let's go with it!)

my aesthetic can best be described as modern & minimal. i believe less is more and that every design element should be intentional. admittedly, i have an obsession with lucite seating and clean, open spaces.

currently visualizing two ideal locations | settings. an uber modern hillside estate with mountain views & an oceanside home with imperfectly, perfect aesthetics.

i love music and my playlist is wildly eclectic, to say the least. from nina & coltrane to bob & buju. from outkast & ti. to bach & chopin. from alanis & cheryl to tupac & biggie. music soothes my soul!

i am mum to an upcoming h.s. senior who wants to study neonatology & and an upcoming 4th grader who wants to be a producer like @djkhalid, an actor, & a singer. in his spare time, he may moonlight as a firefighter. (hey, i'll support it all!)

i'm wife to kbb who is very much a part of my team & brand and i appreciate his dedication, not only to our family, but to our businesses.

my alma-mater is the one and only, florida agricultural & mechanical university (@famu_1887) and in my previous life, i served as an educator for over a decade.

i enjoy watching sunrise by the ocean, trying new eateries, traveling to new places & immersing myself in local cultures, laughing my ass off, getting lost in a good book, becoming a better version of myself & genuine conversations.

golden hour. there's something magical about the miami sunset.
i suppose that's why it's been coined #magiccity.

fun fact: most of our miami clients are destination to miami, meaning, they hail from new york, washington, d.c., california, & canada, for example. we enjoy educating them on our diverse culture and helping them to create authentic experiences for their guests.

why miami?
⚫ miami is the sunshine state. there's tropical weather almost 365. where else can you treat your guests to an oceanfront welcome reception during winter months?
⚫ the culture is so diverse and rich. i can recall some clients asking why we (my creative partners & i) cheek kiss so much. because we're lovers, of course! 😉
⚫ miami has beautiful venues to fit varying tastes; from art galleries and converted temples to spanish gardens and penthouses. there are so many options to choose from.
⚫ it's an amazing option for treating guests to a destination event while remaining within the u.s. given our current climate due to covid-19, it's a great location for those concerned with international travel.

this week, i spent a great deal of time working behind the scenes. i had amazing business chats with my squad about how to best serve our clientele during covid and beyond. i was able to connect with new event industry partners as well as old ones. i began working on a mood board for an upcoming wedding and it gave me life! my daughter has completed 2/3 of her ap exams and my son is about to submit his final project, meaning, sayonara distance learning (for now). one of my dear friends welcomed a baby girl this week while another shared the news that she was expecting (#proudaunty) this week was definitely a good week.
