This week, our Sales and Operations team went “back to school” (and back on the road) … visiting more than 20 of our hotel partners from Downtown Miami to Fort Lauderdale.

A new season is always a good excuse to reconnect, catch up, and see what’s new.

A little face time. A lot of catching up. And maybe a few questionable school outfits. 😉

Sometimes you walk into a room not knowing what to expect and walk out knowing you need to come back.

Mark Howard recently represented Advantage Destination & Meeting Services at our first NGLCC Conference in San Diego, and the experience delivered in more ways than one.

From one-on-one meetings with corporate buyers to conversations with potential new partners, the week was a reminder of the value of putting yourself in new rooms and starting new conversations.

One of the trip’s most meaningful moments was meeting Dennis and Judy Shepard, founders of the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Their unexpected conversation left a lasting impression.

Mark went to San Diego ready to listen, learn, and make connections. He left with new relationships, new ideas, and plenty of reasons to return.

Thank you to NGLCC and everyone who made our first conference such a memorable one. We’ll see you in Washington, D.C. in 2027!
