A little history: the Iron Walking Bridge between Saxenhausen and the Romer Platz in Frankfurt, Germany. This was the only bridge to survive the bombings during WW2. I recommend researching more. Some interesting stories to include hauntings and engineering techniques.
As for photography techniques, this image was shot with a Canon AE1 Program, TMAX 400 pushed to 3200, hand held, F8, 1/8 sec.
I have numerous stories of my own walking across this bridge during my time in the Army back in the late 80's. This was pre wall coming down. This is one of my favorites for sure.
Sorry, I haven't been posting much lately. Actually haven't posted anything in a while. I am going to try to be more active and start sharing some of my past photos as well as sharing some new adventures. Please ask if you have any questions as to how I captured a particular image or want to know the "story behind the image". Thank you and enjoy....
Off to a bit of a late start; but, anyone interested?
The Lyon rail station by Santiago Calatrava, Lyon, France
Going through some older images and came across this one. Taken during a hike through the mountains in Kyrgyzstan. It's been tough; but, the military has given me the opportunity to visit, experience, and explore some amazing places. I hope to get a collection of some of these images available in publication soon.
