Sometimes it’s a little scary to admit that you’ve lost momentum.
Nothing dramatic happened. Life happened. You get tired, you get pulled in different directions, you don’t feel fully like yourself… and suddenly you feel like you’re starting from scratch and don’t even know where to begin.
I’ve been noticing how easy it is to get stuck in my head when I’m in that place. Thinking about everything I should be doing, how to get back into my rhythm, how to feel inspired again.
But somehow, the more I think about it, the harder it feels.
What’s actually been helping me is much simpler.
Making myself something good to eat. Arranging flowers. Picking up my violin. Putting music on. Being in my home. Doing little things without needing them to lead anywhere.
Less thinking, more being.
And slowly, I can feel little pieces of inspiration coming back.
Maybe we don’t have to force ourselves back into momentum. Maybe we just start wherever we are and let it find us again. 🤎
