Bittersweet morning not driving to SoMi for the 1st Day of School drop off. Feels weird, like I'm forgetting or missing something. Strange to not be there anymore. While that chapter has finally come to a close, I am ooking forward to our new chapter . b
So blessed and grateful for having 15 wonderful years with at such an amazing family (school). Thank You to everyone that has been such an incredible part of our lives. I will truly miss everyone & everything. Happy 1st Day of School & have an amazing year. All my love! ❤️❤️❤️🦈

You did it! 9 years ago, you started your amazing journey in a place that fully accepted you for who you were. I knew this was where you needed to be, even with its intense rigor. I knew that's exactly what you needed to continue to thrive. I knew you would be loved & supported throughout your journey. I knew you would be taught by caring & dedicated teachers who would take the time to guide you along the way. You started as my literally "Little Man" because you were tiny. But you were always so happy and your big smile melted everyone. Your sweetness drew everyone in. Your curiosity & way of seeing things encouraged everyone to always challenge you. You started out kindergarten with one of your favorite ABA's and thanks to her hard work and the full openness of your whole SoMi family learning how best to approach & handle different things to ensure your success, you "graduated" from ABA therapy & needing a "shadow" by Christmas! That was monumental on so many levels. I am still beyond appreciative & forever grateful to & the SoMi Village for being open to something uncommon & new; and to seeing beyond an IEP & labels that you had great potential but needed a little "extra" to show it. I could never thank you & the SoMi village enough. There were some bumps at first but they were easily smoothed out. Fast Forward and you've excelled on so many levels and on your own. By your own hard work and determination & with an excellent group of teachers at each step of the way. You've also made some incredible friendships since day 1 that will continue to grow as you all go on to start your new journeys. This chapter is sadly ending, but what an epic novel it has been. I am so proud of you and can't wait to see how this new chapter unfolds. I know it will be amazing and I can't wait to add your newfound artistry to the new pages. I LOVE you Christopher & congrats my little SoMi Shark!

Saturday night was truly epic! The SoMi Class of 2025 had an amazing night at their incredible prom. Glad to have been a part of creating such a memorable night and to see my Little Man have a blast with his friends for their "Last Dance"!
