It was their SURPRISE BIG 5 OH!!! Zeny & Juan celebrated their 50 year anniversary which was lovingly organized and prepared by their grateful, sweet, appreciative daughter Michelle!! This is an all-pics post, videos are posted separately.

It's truly heartwarming as DJ&MC to be a part of celebrations like these. It really helps me both feel like family and augment that "family" social vibe present at most events I'm privileged to be a part of.

Music is powerful in both creating and reliving memories. I'm very mindful of that when programming and playing the music for all the events I'm grateful to be part of.

Here, we took a trip down memory lane. In planning for this event, I asked Michelle in advance for her parent's favorite tunes. She gave me a few and mentioned they got married in 1973, so I researched top hits from then and that was the basis for their cocktail & dinner music. Really nice music in the 70s as you know, and can still hear it sampled, recycled, and clearly influencing much of today's music.
The couple had just attended the Earth, Wind, & Fire concert the night before, so I made sure to play plenty of EWF hits. Very influential group!

After dinner it was time for a slide show of throwback memories of the guests of honor, then it was time for some dancin!! They were ready and it was nice to see em movin & groovin!

It was a pleasure to be in Michelle's beautiful home and meet her cool hubby and kids! Thanks for having me!

Thank you my loved friend, associate, and truly special wedding officiant for the referral! He was the one that actually performed the ceremony for Michelle's marriage, and she reached out to Mike for recommendations. Much appreciated. THIS is fun & different! Marcus the groom owns the Sarasota Paradise soccer team, and asked if I'd rock their jersey at he and Vicky's !! I wore it with pride and it looked good even given black tie attire! Such a fun, memorable celebration! to have been a part of it!!

Liz & Ben's wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was such a fun time!! It was an intimate "family" typa . They came awl the way from NY (my hometown) to celebrate their love at the beautiful in Key Largo!! What a dream venue!! This is an all-pics post, videos are posted separately.

I arrived extra early for setup as I always do, and from when I arrived, there was already a party goin on with great music they had playing from a Bluetooth speaker. Very cool, different, and gave me extra insight to the guest's tastes which I used later on during the open dancing.

Ben, the groom, was sooo cool and even offered to help me load in and set up my gear. So nice of him to offer but I told him enjoy your wedding day. The rest of the wedding had a similar warm, family vibe, almost like being DJ at a house party, which it was similar to in many ways.

Then came the ceremony, which was beautiful facing the Atlantic Ocean, and was performed by one of their loved ones, so it had an added organic feel in addition to the romantic vibe.

Afterward came the cocktail hour, where guests were dancing to the music on the cocktail hour playlist! Cool!

They then enjoyed their first dance as the New Mr. & Mrs. Gonzalez, followed by a heartwarming Groom-Mom dance. The guests then enjoyed dinner courtesy of during which the heartfelt speeches took place.

Everybody was ready to dance from JUMP! Lol and it was a nonstop party until the end. So enjoyable to be a part of it!!

So I asked one of the guests to record one of my trademark and she also acted as a director of sorts! Lol moments like these are sooo fun and very personally rewarding! I LOVE being an important part of joyful celebrations like Mariah & Joe's wedding!!!

Chris's BIG 4-OH was such a fun, memorable celebration! The Cayview South ballroom here at the very cool, always fun was rockin!!

From the beginning you could tell it was gonna be a fun "family" typa celebration when the guests were movin and groovin as they entered the ballroom to the cocktail hour playlist curated by Colleen, wife of the Birthday Boy who you can tell loves her husband so much that she planned this very special party for her hubby including planning it to be at beautiful , a beautiful balloon bouquet by , obscenely visually appealing and tasty lol courtesy of the very cool , and more!

The many kids present added an extra layer of fun and spread the joy and merriment throughout the ballroom as they were running around playing and dancing, in effect becoming energy multipliers which spread all around the ballroom. Really cool. I even played a "Kids Requests" set which they loved. These kids were a great reflection on their parents. Very well behaved, sweet, polite, and HELLA FUN!! Lol Ya know, in many ways we're ALL kids at heart, that's where pure joy resides, the kind us DJs strive to tap into at all our events.

The Havana Nights theme buffet was very tasty as well as appealing to the eye, and featured roast pork carving station, paella, and more. Great job by , Lavoe, and the entire banquets staff!

After dinner, the guests who obviously LOVE the guest of honor were ready to party immediately after the birthday sing along which followed dinner, and they partied nonstop til the end which included a long 30 minute encore set of music I played based on all their requests! Wow! It was fun for them as well as very personally enjoyable.

Big thank you to for the referral! I've had the pleasure of being DJ&MC for many events here since the 90s, and they've always been memorable and so much fun. There's something really special about this venue DJ AJ Falcon
