The City of Mexia is looking for a qualified individual for the position of: Full Time Customer Service Representative in the Water Billing Office. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED, must have a current valid Driver’s license, and have no outstanding citations or warrants. The applicant must have customer service skills, experience of working with the public and handling money. Applicants should be able to type at least 45 wpm and possess basic computer, keyboard, ten key, and math skills. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
The pay rate is $15.97 per hour with an increase of 2.5% upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
Applicants will be required to pass a physical, drug screen, and a criminal background check. Applications and job descriptions may be obtained from and should be returned to Dee Lindvay at the City Manager’s Office, 101 N. McKinney, Mexia, Texas, or by visiting the Human Resources page at www.cityofmexia.com. Resumes without the application and supporting documents will not be accepted.
