I thought this song was so fitting because Mary and I have definitely never gone “out of style”! ❤️

You see, back when I operated a home daycare, Mary was one of my kiddos! She was always such a sweet, bright little girl and so advanced for her age. Even after she headed off to kindergarten, her mom and I stayed connected, especially since we had also been daycare providers together at one point.

Fast forward all these years, and it all came full circle when I was asked to take Mary’s senior pictures. 🥹📸

Mary, you are still that same bright, sweet girl I found so endearing when you were little. Watching you grow into the beautiful young woman you are today has been such a gift. I have no doubt you are going to go places and do amazing things!

I’ve always said that the shirt that reads, “Sorry I’m late, I saw a dog,” was made for me. With four pups of my own, it’s no secret that I’m a total dog person.

Yesterday, a loving dog mom reached out hoping for a last-minute session to preserve the memory of her sweet girl. Knowing how precious time is, we made it happen today.

It was truly an honor to spend time with Bruin and capture these final moments with the people who love her most. Every wag, every gentle look, every cuddle told the story of a life filled with unconditional love, endless cookies, and so many cherished memories.

These sessions are never easy, but they are some of the most meaningful photographs I’ll ever have the privilege to create. Thank you for trusting me with such a precious chapter of your story, sweet Bruin. ❤️🐾
