To all my clients and fellow vendors:
Yes-the governor has put a ban on all events with 250 people or more.
Yes-this includes weddings.
What that means for clients:
With no "resume" date given as of right now, we (your vendors) cannot control what is happening. We will work with you to the best of our abilities. Here at Eventful Evenings, we are willing to move your event date to another open date, we will help facilitate with all other vendors to make the transition as smooth as possible.
What that means for vendors:
Please be kind and mindful that while we (and you) cannot control the decision that was made, neither can the client. They do not know what they are doing yet. Be patient while we work with them to figure out what options they have. We are working quickly, making tough decisions and trying to get things figured out.
Put yourself in our clients shoes-if this was your event what would you want from your vendors? Be compassionate towards them. These events are important and meaningful to them. We want to keep them that way.
This is not something any of us would have anticipated (if we could have-there wouldn't be a toilet paper shortage). The only thing we can do is push forward and work towards making sure that all events go smoothly and any changes that need to be made are in the best interest of all our clients.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about your event. I will respond as quickly as I can.
