Luna wedding 🌹

Take me back to the most beautiful winery wedding days in Temecula California 😍

Angelina and Adrian’s wedding day was one for the books that’s for sure and I still reminisce on how truly amazing their day was.

As if out of a fairytale, these two tied the knot on a beautiful September day surrounded by friends and family and the most gorgeous scenery. With lots of happy tears, they read their vows to one another and embraced the emotions of the day.

It’s always a nice humbling reflection to scroll back to my very first instagram posts when I was still a baby wedding photographer.

To see the changes in editing and capture styles is wild to me. But I love it. Every year I grow more and more into my creative self and I love getting to document weddings and engagements along the way. ✨

The Morrisette Wedding ✨

From getting ready details to their Catholic ceremony at St.Thomas Aquinas and then their newlyweds where they met in college, and finally to their reception, this wedding day was one to remember.

People often ask if it costs more to go to several locations within a wedding day and the simple answer for me specifically is no.

All it requires is some additional timeline math and making sure everything is running as close to on time as possible during the wedding day. Sometimes it means adding additional hours to a collection but there is always a way to make it work.

Your wedding day should be exactly as you imagine and if that means driving to different places within it, I’m happy to!!

Hello everyone! Its been a little while since I showed my face on my feed so here is a pic of me doing something I love and feeling absolutely empowered!

Also, can you tell that I just left my soul at my CrossFit gym after competing in a gauntlet style competition not 30 min before this photo was taken? 🤪

I honestly am always shocked and humbled at the fact that this is what I get to do for a living. When I left my full time job to pursue my own wedding photography business 6 years ago, I could never have imagined that I would be fully supporting myself and expanding into new photo opportunities, like bo***ir!

This way of creating art is so magical and even after the really hard days, I still wake up and feel giddy knowing that I get to capture all of your amazing moments!

“A fresh start isn’t a new place. It’s a mindset”

I’ve been searching for a place, a feeling, a “I’ll be happy when I get…” and so far I haven’t found it.

So with a busy few weeks before I go on a much needed vacation, I’ll be doing my best to practice mindfulness in an effort to gain some happiness.

Thankfully, having the job that I do, all be it overwhelming at times, I am granted the rare gift of exploration. Going out to the sand dunes with these two was a way for me to explore a familiar place, but in a completely new way because the couple helped make it unique to them. ♥️

It’s always funny to me to notice my posture and just how utterly terrible it is when I am photographing an event 😅 I always come home after a long wedding and ask my husband to pop my back and now I know why 🙈

Any other photographers deal with posture issues while shooting? 😂

The big debate in the wedding industry, when to book your vendors? In my personal and professional opinion, as soon as possible. Im talking, as soon as you know who you would love to have as a photographer, videographer, venue, you name it, reach out to them to get on their calendar.

Typically wedding photographers will book out a year to a year and a half in advance and the popular dates will book out even faster. Just think, if you are planning your wedding right now, its almost a guarantee that another couple has reached out about your same date to a vendor, with most businesses being on a “first come, first serve” basis.

This isn’t to scare you or to pressure you into booking, but as a reminder that calendars book up extremely fast and it breaks our vendor hearts to have to respond back to inquires with an “Im sorry but your date is not available”.

So I want to offer some advice that might help y’all out in the decision making process. If you know that you want a vendor, and they have your date open but the price tag might be the limiting factor, always, always, always have a transparent conversation with the vendor.

In my case I recognize that sometimes there is some sticker shock when it comes to booking and so I like to soften the blow with a smaller deposit or payment plan options because at the end of the day, if you love me and my work as a wedding photographer, why wouldn’t I want to help in any way I can? ♥️

I started taking photos when I was in middle school more so as a hobby than anything else. When I went to school, I left photography behind to try other creative things out, like dance, choir and ceramics. It wasn't until I got to college that I realized how important photos were in my life. I haven't the best memory in the world so looking back on photographs taken brings those memories back. Every photo captured mid laugh, hug, smile or even cry has meant the world to me.

I am a smiling, joking person and I strive to make everyone who seeks out my services feel comfortable in front of the camera. Knowing what its like to feel out of your comfort zone, I try every which way to make the camera the least of your worries.

So here I am. We live in a visual world saturated with social media postings and videos. I am here to help capture and immortalize your moments in time, and make them stand out from the rest, whatever they may be!
