Your wedding day moves fast — in a blur of hugs, love and laughter. But amidst all the excitement, one of the most meaningful things you can do is take a quiet moment together for portraits.

Here’s why it matters:

✨ It’s One of the Few Private Moments You’ll Have Together

Even if it is 15-30 minutes for portraits allows you both to step away, breathe, and just be together — no distractions, just love.

✨ Timeless Photos You’ll Treasure Forever

These portraits are where emotion meets art. Whether they’re romantic, playful, or serene, this time results in some of the most iconic images of the day — the ones you’ll frame, share, and look back on for a lifetime.

✨ A Chance to Slow Down

It’s easy to get caught up in the timeline. Portrait time gives you space to reset, take in the moment, and remember why you’re there — not just to host a party, but to celebrate your story.

✨ Lighting & Location Make a Difference

Golden hour? A scenic overlook? A quiet hallway? Taking the time ensures we can make the most of beautiful light and intentional backgrounds — instead of squeezing them in during chaotic transitions. Tip: Talk to your photographer and planner about the best time of day for your couple portraits.

Remember, the photos of just the two of you will likely become your most loved — not just because of how they look, but because of how they felt in the moment. Take the time. You won’t regret it.

Photographer: captured these moments perfectly

Doing a unity ceremony during your wedding isn’t required—but it can be deeply meaningful. Here’s are some reasons to consider adding it to your wedding ceremony.

✨ Symbolizes Your Bond
It visually represents the joining of your lives, families, or beliefs in a way that words alone sometimes can’t.

✨ Adds a Personal Touch
It’s a chance to showcase something unique about your relationship—whether it’s cultural heritage, spirituality, or shared passions.

✨ Creates a Memorable Moment
It breaks up the ceremony with something interactive and emotional—guests remember it, and so will you.

✨ Great for Photos and Keepsakes
You often end up with a beautiful visual that lasts long after the ceremony.

Some examples — sand ceremony, communion, unity candle, writing your own vows, handfasting, wine box, stomping of the glass, jumping the broom, or lasso ceremony.

Our Story

Aldea Weddings is a family owned and operated business that was founded in 2004. Our journey began coordinating events at private estates throughout the Valley. In 2005 we opened the doors of our first venue, Aldea Weddings at Tlaquepaque. We have been proudly hosting events ever since. We are so excited to be able to expand our business into the East Valley with Aldea Weddings at The Landmark.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Landmark is an adaptive reuse and modernization of the historic building on 809 West Main Street, which was built in the 1920s. While preserving the original architectural details, the property has been fully renovated and thoughtfully designed to host intimate weddings and other private events.

The Landmark features the main reception space, a separate indoor ceremony room and twinkle lit courtyards -all surrounded by manicured grounds. We offer a picturesque backdrop for your next event,

Aldea Weddings is honored to bring our tradition of excellent service and all inclusive packages to this timeless property.
