We took the night off to enjoy Halloween and make some magic in Hogwarts. I was Hermione Granger, Luke was Professor Dumbledore and Lyric was Harry Potter. Norval was Dark Knight, Leticia was Daisy Duke, Victoreya was Wednesday Addams and Daniel he was himself.

Happy 1st Anniversary to my sister and brother in law…Lisa & Jeff Ahern! A year ago we had the wedding of the century and I was honored to be a part of it as your best friend, your sister, matron of honor, advisor, and florist. East Valley Florist is one of the top florists in Arizona and we are so honored and blessed to have been a part of your million dollar wedding! One of my favorite items we incorporated into the bouquets and boutonnières were the bells of Ireland and the hops. May you both always remember this beautiful day and most of all the love you share with one another growing more every day of your lives.Congrats on year number 1! Much love to you both!

East Valley Florist proudly supported all cancer warriors by tie dying 6 dozen roses for the Red Mountain High School Varsity Football and Girl’s Varsity Volleyball Teams. We chose tie dye to represent all types of cancer and not one specific cancer to honor all warriors. East Valley Florist celebrated our Mom Teruko Hiratsuka Bennett who passed away from colon cancer Mother’s Day May 9, 2016. I think of you every single day and wish I had one more chance to talk to you in person. We love you so much! We honored our Dad who is in remission for prostate cancer and skin cancer. Keep fighting Dad! We love you! Many of the East Valley Florist Family/Friends circle have unfortunately dealt with cancer and this night was to celebrate, make awareness, and remember our warriors. A special set of roses were given to our son’s friends family who’s warrior/daughter Zandra Wade received her Angel wings on May 22, 2020 15 days before her 17th birthday. Zae had a rare cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor also known as DSRCT. She had a bright future at such a young age of 16. She mastered Brazilian Ju Jitsu and played Volleyball for RMHS and Club. Zandra we miss your bubbly personality, your love of life, your beautiful smile even on days you weren’t feeling well and we simply just miss you. To all of you out there who have/had cancer and are reading this. Keep fighting. Even when the days get tough you have to keep digging deeper inside you to battle the cancer until it’s all gone from your body. You got this! Sending all of our love and healing prayers to you all! Congratulations to Christian! Christian is one of my favorite people in the world. This guy is 18 and has his stuff together at such a young age. He is super athletic! He plays soccer and tennis. He is smart on the field and even smarter off the field. Christian an all around guy who anyone would be blessed to have his friendship. He is so handsome and has the heart of an Angel. I have always thought he would be a high power defense attorney or an extraordinary surgeon healing people all over the world. When I ask him what he wants to be when he grows up his answer is Mob Boss. Christian you’re already a Boss! I look forward to watching his journey of life as I know this guy is going places in whatever he does in life. I will support him along his journey. He is truly the most well mannered guy I know. He was shy at first with me but I love him like my own son. I hope you have a wonderful evening tonight Christian with your friends. I’m so excited for you to attend NAU! I can’t wait to come visit you and take you to lunch up there. We are so proud of you and you will always have a place to stay at our home if you ever need a place. Our home is your home! Nicole is such a beautiful soul inside and out. She has beauty and brains as she is one of the smartest ladies I’ve met. She is so down to earth and has the best manners anyone who meets her would be so blessed. She puts God and her family first always and I really believe she will go far in life! She has a genuine heart. We adore you Nicole and your family! Sunflowers were the perfect pick for Nicole’s Prom set. She loves the color yellow and the past 4 years I have been blessed to be a part of her dances and events. I have enjoyed finding different yellow flowers to work for her but the Sunflowers were probably my favorite besides the daffodils. Happy graduation Nicole! I can’t wait to see your journey of life!

Trevor is one of our guys we absolutely adored since he was about 8/9 yrs old. He played soccer with our oldest Luke. Trevor went on to be one of the top swimmers at Red Mountain HS even went to State multiple times placing as one of the most elite swimmers out state has seen! He’s successful in the classroom as well! Mr. T will be very successful in life and I can’t wait to see all the successful moments on his journey. Who knows, maybe we will see him at the Olympics. What ever he decides to do in life, he will be the best as he strives to always be the best in anything he does! Have a wonderful grad night with your family and friends! We love you Trevor and we are so proud of you! Happy Graduation!

East Valley Florist is giving some shout outs today to Class of 2022! Conlon whom I call Mr. Pink is one of the sweetest guys I know! We met him and his wonderful family when he was about 6 yrs old. He’s fast on the soccer field! He is graduating today and there is zero questions, this guy will be successful. He has a lot of confidence, always on the go, and look at that face, he’s a cutie too! Have a wonderful grad night and enjoy your summer before you begin your next journey….adulting! We love you! Happy Graduation!!
