Where I’ve Been 💛

Hey friends, clients, and all my wedding family —
If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been a little quiet lately, here’s a peek behind the scenes.

A few weeks ago, I had major cervical spine surgery — fusing C2 through C6. Yep, that’s a big one! Recovery has been slow and steady, and while I may look like I’m doing great in this picture (smiling and rocking my neck brace 😄), this journey is definitely far from over.

Right now, I can’t lift anything heavier than a tea cup ☕, and I’m doing weekly IV treatments to help my body heal with the fluids and nutrients it needs. I follow up with my surgeon in late November to find out the next steps in this process.

This kind of surgery takes time — and there are no quick fixes or guarantees — but I’m staying positive, listening closely to my doctors, and doing everything I can to make this a success story.

Thank you all for your patience, love, and support as I take this time to heal properly so I can come back stronger than ever. 💪💖

What a fun rehearsal last night with Alex and Cody. Even with the rain on the beach we used the back up plan and kept everyone dry. What a great group of friends and family they have and I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle today.
