Thank you for everyone who came out to support at our Percussion Ensemble Concert last night!
These students have been working so hard all year and it definitely paid off, so proud of them all!
And thank you again to the Stetson University Percussion Ensemble to taking their time out of their finals week to come play with us and share some amazing music!

We are 2 weeks away from our annual Percussion Ensemble Concert! You won’t want to miss it, our percussionists have been working hard to bring this concert to life and this year they’re joined by special guest: the Stetson University Percussion Ensemble!!

For the last 4 days, the Merritt Island Band traveled to Washington D.C. and had an absolute blast learning about American history, visiting historic monuments, buildings, and memorials, and also had a wonderful performance at the WWII Memorial!

We will have more pictures to share in a little bit. Huge thank you to our chaperones, tour guide, and students for making this a very memorable experience!

Congratulations again to the Merritt Island Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony for their performances this past Friday at the District 10 Music Performance Assessment at Bayside High School

Symphonic Band received Superiors on stage with an Excellent in sight reading!

Wind Symphony received Straight Superiors, along with our student conductor, James Hatten, who also received a Superior for his performance!

A special thank you to our private clinicians, Phil Rodell, Fran Youmans, Shari Shaw, and Dominic Bolognese for your continued efforts in setting our students up for success!
