PSA‼️
In the beginning of the year, I had given some thought of ending Decades DJ service for the following year of 2026. I would, of course completed a couple of gigs for private events that were to take place next year.
To say that this year has been difficult is an understatement..
However , changes sometimes open doors for opportunities for other things.
My recent technical issues would require me to spend a huge amount of money to replace it . It just doesn’t seem feasible to do such a thing when I am planning on going a different avenue for the following year.
It is with great difficulty that I announced that I will no longer be providing DJ services .
I have been providing this service for 20 years, it’s enabled me to be involved with my community to help volunteer services for benefits, and to help people unite with one thing that we all love, which is MUSIC!
My business started in 2005 where I worked at the Boys and Girls Club and did a community program every month. To this day, those young people who are now adults come to me and express the happiness of those days gone by. It definitely gives validation that I was bringing something positive to their lives through music.
I have been blessed greatly to work with some of the best businesses in Hatfield such as the Deerview! Their support over these years has been phenomenal and has built a relationship like family.
This bond is everlasting.. 🩷
I’ve been present and privileged to see young children grow up with music in their hearts and maybe someway, I may have had a positive influence on musical directions that they take , such as playing instruments and singing their hearts out !
Over the years, we have lost some good people along the way.
They have made everlasting impressions on me that will last a lifetime!
Music brings people together.. it is undeniably a huge and major focal point of my life and it will continue to be so , but in a different way.
Before I was a DJ, I was a performing artist on stage, singing in bands, and recording music in Studios. I even did a stent as a wedding singer for a while.
With that being said, I will leave the door open for future opportunities in that area.
I will continue in the business that I have been in for the last 37 years, which is bartending.
I am very fortunate to be a part of the Mug family in Hatfield! We are a team and I find great joy in being a part of it! I love my Hatfield community!
My artwork is always been a very important part of my life as well, this will give me the opportunity to focus on it and provide me some additional education, so I can focus on my own business and make it the most successful it can be.
To all of you that have been supportive of me throughout all these years, my heartfelt thanks!
The support of my family in this decision is very important to me and I’m grateful that they encouraged me to embrace changes and let the good just happen…
Much love to everyone and keep on rocking it! 🎶🎵🎶🎤🎵🎼
