It’s 10 days into January 2026, but never too late to reflect on 2025, and more importantly to thank all my wonderful clients who trusted me to capture their special moments!

I went from a magical winter wonderland in Washington State to the beaches of the DR, to the mountains in Idaho and all the Treasure Valley amazing venues and more. So many special moments were created & captured and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who invited me into their world and trusted me to capture their special moments!! It means the world to me💗💗

On a side note, even with the beauty/power of AI these “look back and celebrate” videos are not that easy. Anyone else?? 🤷🏼‍♀️🙏🏼Or do I just need to study up more on how to break down 1000s of images to around 100 but make it select the images that are my favorites. I have a feeling I need to make better friends with AI. LOL
That detail aside, I’m more than happy to put in the time so I can celebrate & thank all my wedding couples here first…with a sprinkle of some of my High School Seniors, a family, and a very special shoot with fighter jet pilots & their beloved A-10s!
There is more to come with thank you shout outs for the many other shoots I did.

Counting all my blessings as I look back at 2025 and looking forward to 2026!

✨Molly + Jay ✨

Their day was a certain kind of magic! They chose the backdrop for their union to be in gorgeous McCall, ID. You can never go wrong with this place. Even when the weather tries to throw you for a loop. And we all certainly got a curveball with the weather on this special day of theirs. In the morning on the way to the for getting ready, snow/hail blanketed the ground. It’s the end of June mind you, who wouldn’t think this would be the weather. 🫠😅 it was a bit of a shock but it didn’t stop these two for a second from enjoying, embracing, and loving every moment & each other!

You would never know from the photos but the day started out around 39 degrees and poured down hail several times and only got up to about 49 degrees for the high. Sweet Molly was a trouper in her dress, shivering along the way, but so filled with joy and love that I think it warmed her up just right!!

Also one fun fact about their day, Jay’s Mom folded 1,001 paper cranes all by her self!! They represent good luck in the Japanese culture. Talk about a beautiful act of love on her son’s wedding day!

I loved spending the day with these two, no matter what the weather looked like. It was all perfection!!

These two!! All of the weddings I get the joy and honor to capture have magic to them. But every once in a while a couple & their wedding day has some extra special magic. That was and is these two beautiful souls.

They waited a long time for their true love. Their true North. There is no timeframe or age that can define or contain love. It will happen whenever it darn well wants to!

J.R. & Sandra met doing one of the things they love to do most…dancing! From all the stories they told of their meeting, I do declare it was love at first sight.

The love they have for each other and vibrancy to live life to the fullest is palpable any time you are around them. I only have known them (as a vendor) for a very short couple months, but they certainly left me wanting more. More of their magic, more of their passion for life and each other, more of their dancing (they danced the night away and they are SO freaking good!!!), more of everything about them!!

Needless to say, I felt so honored to get to capture this very special day for them!! I would do it all over again and again and again ❤️

Congrats to two beautiful souls who show us all, age does not matter….if anything it only makes it all better!

Yes I would love to take your picture, so you can remember 😉🫶🏼

Let’s face it, life moves fast, we want to hit pause but we can’t. Our only pause button is the photos and videos that we take or have taken for us. You will forever cherish every single photo at some point in your journey through this beautiful life. Trust me…as a seasoned veteran in photography and general life (married for almost 15 years, 2 kids, running a business for 20 years, fitness instructor for 11 years, loss of close family members, dog owner and lose of dogs, and on it goes.

I’m so thankful for every photo I have of my life journey and it makes me extra passionate to be able to capture special moments and all the in between for each of my clients so they can remember and also be there for those they love as a keepsake.
