Our hearts are with our neighbors at Lighthouse Point Park and with everyone in our community affected by last night’s devastating storm.

For generations, Lighthouse Point and its beautiful historic carousel have held a special place in New Haven’s history. The carousel pavilion has stood along our shoreline for more than a century, welcoming generations of families and becoming the backdrop for countless celebrations, traditions and memories.

For those of us in the wedding and event community, Lighthouse Point is even more meaningful. So many couples have chosen this beautiful piece of New Haven’s shoreline as the place to begin their lives together.

Seeing the devastating damage to such a treasured local landmark is heartbreaking.

As a neighboring shoreline wedding and event venue, Anthony’s Ocean View would simply like to help. If your upcoming celebration has been impacted and you are unsure where to turn, please reach out to us. We will do everything we reasonably can, while working around our existing events and commitments, to see if there is a way we can assist.

This is a time for our local community to support one another.

We are hopeful that this beloved piece of New Haven history will be restored, and that the carousel will continue creating memories for generations to come. 🤍

We brought winter into summer in July ❄️🎄
Jariel & Maria wanted a Winter Wonderland — So we brought every toy to the Kay Pier South ballroom at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.
Full-room wireless uplighting. Snow projection falling across the room all night. Custom name monogram, and our amazing dancing cloud rolling out for their first dance.
