✨ Wedding Spotlight at the Merchantville Community Center ✨

We were thrilled to host the beautiful wedding of Carolyn & Steven on April 12, 2025! 💍

Their ceremony took place on our charming outdoor patio, followed by a warm and elegant reception in the main ballroom. The decor was simply stunning — a sophisticated tablescape that flowed perfectly with the space, featuring gold flatware, soft greenery, and personalized place cards.

Guests were welcomed by a custom sign and a breathtaking mirror seating chart adorned with wax seal details. A large ornate mirror became the perfect spot for keepsake photos, and the Polaroid guest book brought a fun, personal touch to the evening.

It was truly a magical day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 💚

💍✨ Something magical happened at the Community Center last weekend! ✨💍

A couple tied the knot right here in Merchantville and made the most of our space—using the Ballroom upstairs for the celebration and turning the Lower Level into an adorable kids’ zone! 🎉💕

While the grown-ups danced and dined, the kids had their own little party with:
🧚 Fairy & pixie wings
🎨 Crafts and board games
🧺 A stuffy adoption station
🫧 Bubbles, ribbon wands, and mega blocks
🧩 A checkerboard mat for floor games
…and so much more!

It was joyful, creative, and full of heart—just the way we love it around here. 💛

So sweet to see our space used in such a fun and thoughtful way. Big congrats to the happy couple, and thanks for letting us be a part of your day! 💐

We can bearly wait! 🧸💗
A client celebrated the sweetest baby shower with the most adorable theme — We Can Bearly Wait! Everything was picture-perfect, from the cuddly plush teddy bears with a boho chic twist to the dreamy color palette of soft pinks, golds, and neutrals.

The balloon arch backdrop (hello, focal point goals!) by the fireplace made the perfect spot for photos, and don’t even get us started on the treats — the cutest themed cake pops and cookies that were just as delicious as they were pretty.

Every detail was filled with love, warmth, and excitement as we count down the days until baby arrives. 💕🐻✨

🎉 The Merchantville Community Center was thrilled to be invited to the Dine Around Collingswood business networking event this week hosted by Haddon Culinary!

We had the pleasure of sampling Haddon Culinary’s new seasonal catering menu — and it did not disappoint! From savory brunch bites and hearty sandwiches to charcuterie boards, beef stroganoff, and a mouthwatering mac and cheese bar, every dish was a standout. 🧀🥩🥖

✨ Some highlights included:
🥑 A DIY avocado toast station
🌆 South Philly street food–inspired hot sandwich package
🍸 Drinks from The Wild Rover (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) and Mercantile 1888 (non-alcoholic)
🍰 Gluten-free desserts from GF Sweeties — not only delicious, but served with warmth by their incredibly kind owners!

There were also so many other amazing vendor offerings showcasing the talent and creativity of our local businesses. It was a fantastic way to connect, collaborate, and enjoy some seriously good eats.
