It's the perfect day to train because we have 3 workshops ready for you today!

Starting at 1:30PM, we have Markus Pe Benito coming to UC Merced to teach a very special pop-up class!

Can't make it to Markus's class? Well you're in luck because we also have Syndicate Dance coming for the DIV Community Dance Classes at 6PM! Jaylen Pea and Daniel Gutierrez will be teaching downtown at the Multicultural Arts Center!

Oh man Sunday is the day to dance because we have 3 different workshops packed in one day! Are you ready for this???

Starting the day off, Division Workshops is partnering with Homebound to bring Markus Paolo Pe Benito for a special pop-up workshop! Markus Pe Benito has danced with groups such as GRV, ACA, and currently Academy of Villians! This workshop will be held at UC Merced in the Social Sciences and Management (SSM) building in Room 116. Registration is at 1:30pm and the workshop will be from 2-4pm!

Can't make it to Markus's workshop? Well don't worry because we still have the DIV Community Dance Class! We have two choreographers from Syndicate Dance coming to teach! We're bringing out Jaylen Pea and Daniel Gutierrez to the Multicultural Art Center in Downtown Merced! Walk-in registration for their classes will be from 6-7PM and the first class starts at 7PM! The next class will be at 8:45PM!

Syndicate Dance is coming out this Sunday for our DIV Community Classes! If you don't know who Syndicate Dance is, here's your chance to check them out! Peep the video down below! 👀

Syndicate is a family of individuals who come together to accomplish a common goal. That goal is to grow and prosper as dancers and people alike, through passion and hard work. They also strive to inspire others to do the same in whatever it is that they have a passion for.

This DIV Community Dance Class is coming up this Sunday, September 10th! Daniel Gutierrez and Jaylen Pea are coming out to teach in Merced at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center - the MAC. Registration is from 6-7pm, with the first class starting at 7!

Daniel Gutierrez has been teaching dance since the young age of 16 years old. He has trained with freestyle and choreography giants such as Jay "JSmooth" Gutierrez, Christopher "Pharside" Jennings and even the prestigious "Jabbawockeez" Daniel currently co-directs San Jose based Dance Family "Syndicate" With an extensive background in freestyle AND urban choreography, Daniel hopes to teach others all around the world the importance of versatility in movement and personal connection through dance.

First up teaching for this Sunday's DIV Community Class is Syndicate's Jaylen Pea! Here's a little preview of some of his work! 😃

Jaylen Pea has been dancing for about 7 years now. His dance journey began in high school. Ever since then his love for dance grew EVERYDAY! Jaylen eventually joined a competitive hip-hop team named Hungry Fam then moved on to a new team named Syndicate, which enlightened him even more along his journey. From there he started to develop his own artistic voice, leading him to teach at local studios/workshops. Jaylen is also signed to Clear Talent Group in Los Angeles, traveling back and forth for auditions to live his dreams of becoming a back up dancer.
