As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the brave men and women who have worn—and continue to wear—the uniform of our Armed Forces. Because of their selfless service, we are blessed with the freedoms we often take for granted.
Today, let us celebrate not only our independence but also the values that have carried our nation through every challenge: peace, love, freedom, determination, and unity. May we continue to stand together, lifting one another up and remembering that our greatest strength has always been found in our shared purpose and our hope for a brighter future.
To every service member, veteran, and military family—thank you. Your sacrifice has helped preserve the American dream for generations, and for that, we are forever grateful.
