Hello everyone,

Please take a moment to look over our prayer concerns. We have many friends and members of our congregation who need our prayers.

Bible Study has been moved from Tuesday night to Wednesday night beginning this week, July 23rd. A potluck meal is shared from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Bible Study, led by J. R. Clark, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
J. R. will lead the study through July. Beginning on Wednesday, August 6th, Brother Larry will lead our Bible Study.

Included with your bulletin this morning is a 2025 School Supply List for Austin Peay Elementary. If you wish to help by donating any of these requested items, please bring them to the church by Sunday, August 10th, for distribution to the students on Monday, August 11th. Thanks.

The Blessing of the Backpacks will be a part of the worship service on Sunday, August 3rd.

Sharon Stubblefield, the leader of the Clopton Line Dancers, asked me to let the church know how much they enjoy meeting in our Family Life Building. They really appreciate our willingness to share our facilities with them. This week they are entertaining in the community at two nursing homes. Our dancers provide a wonderful, caring ministry to folks who are confined and can't get out and about. The patients love being remembered and entertained. The dancers always contribute to our school supplies drive and to Operation Christmas.

Mark these important dates on your calendar:
July 25th thru 27th - Tennessee Sales Tax Holiday
Sunday, August 10th - School Supplies due at the Church
Monday, August 11th - We will man a table in the gym at Austin Peay Elementary from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. to distribute pencils and cap erasers to students

School will start soon. Summer is winding down. I know I'm ready for cooler temperatures!

Try to stay cool. Hope to see you tomorrow in church.
