Jordan + Ben, the night before forever.

Coastal, candlelit, effortlessly romantic.
We set the table on the rooftop of Jekyll Ocean Club and let the sunset do the rest — waves of lisianthus tracing the length of the table, soft linens, and a view that needed no embellishing (though we embellished anyway). Jordan’s Martina Liana Lux gown, with its dimensional floral appliqué, was the perfect match for an evening this soft and sun-soaked.

Hi, friends! There are quite a few new faces here lately, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Latham Stevens—a small-town Mississippi girl who now calls Alaska home and has the incredible privilege of planning and designing weddings primarily in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and throughout the Southern U.S.

What a summer it has been. Full, intense, beautiful, and incredibly rewarding. I’m walking away from this season with such a grateful heart—for the couples and families who trusted me, the vendor teams who poured so much into each celebration, and all of you who continue to follow along and cheer me on from near and far.

As summer begins to wind down and we look toward fall, I have one more wedding this year—and goodness, I am absolutely over the moon about it. I cannot wait to celebrate this sweet couple and eventually share it all with you!

After that, I’ll be stepping away for a little sabbatical—a chance to slow down, pour into my family, find fresh inspiration, and spend some intentional time dreaming, praying, and refining my goals for the year ahead.

I’m so thankful for this little corner of the internet and for each of you who chooses to be here. What a gift it is to get to do work I love, in places I love, alongside people who make it all so meaningful.

Here’s to finishing this season well, making space for rest, and looking forward with so much gratitude and anticipation for what’s to come. 🤍

What an incredible honor to see Jordan & Ben’s beautiful Jekyll Island wedding featured in Southern Bride! 🤍

This weekend was something special, and seeing it shared in this way feels like such a beautiful celebration of all that went into bringing it to life. Every detail was created with so much intention, and an extraordinary amount of heart, talent, and hard work was poured into this wedding by every single member of our vendor team.

I am endlessly grateful to have worked alongside such talented people and even more thankful to have been trusted with such a meaningful weekend for two people and two families I love so dearly.

Jordan & Ben, it was the greatest joy and privilege to be part of your celebration. A weekend I will forever hold close to my heart. 🤍

What a special night in my hometown. 🤍

Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting the grand opening of Main Street Events, a beautiful new venue brought to life by David and Lesley. The heart, vision, and hard work they have poured into these spaces is incredible, and I know this venue is going to be such a gift to the community for years to come!

My mom (the florist) and I have been dreaming of a project where we could simply create, have fun, think outside the box, and let our imaginations run a little wild. This was the perfect opportunity. We gave the chapel a timeless, classic feel and transformed the reception space into a cheeky little speakeasy, and goodness, did we have fun bringing it all to life!

But the sweetest part was watching the town show up to celebrate. Friends, family, members of the community, and so many wonderful wedding professionals from Memphis filled these spaces with such joy and support. It was a beautiful reminder of what happens when people rally around something good.

And none of it would have been possible without the incredible team of vendors who jumped in, trusted the vision, and helped us create something so special. We are so grateful for every single one of you!

David and Lesley, thank you for investing in our hometown and for creating a place where so many memories will be made. I already know Main Street Events is going to be a blessing to countless couples, families, and celebrations.

What an incredibly special weekend celebrating McCully and Caleb at Memphis Country Club alongside their family and friends. Every part of the weekend was filled with so much joy, love, and intention, and it was such an honor to witness the beginning of this beautiful new chapter for them.

Their love for the Lord, for one another, and for the people around them was evident in every detail and in every person who came to celebrate alongside them. An unforgettable weekend for two very special people!!

Kinda chic to credit vendors. 🤍

Feeling a little “momma bear” over my fellow wedding vendors this morning.

Every time I open social media, I see beautiful weddings shared by major publications without the vendor teams being tagged. Then I scroll TikTok and see venues posting publication-worthy transformations without acknowledging the people who actually brought those spaces to life.

Wedding vendors do not create beautiful work simply for social media credit. We do it because we love our clients, care deeply about their celebrations, and take pride in serving them well.

But credit still matters.

These images, publications, venues, and platforms benefit from the creativity, talent, time, and hard work of entire vendor teams. Tagging those vendors is one small way to show respect, support their businesses, and acknowledge the people behind the beauty.

We are quick to tag celebrities we have never met. We can certainly take a moment to credit the hardworking professionals whose work we are sharing. Let’s do better as an industry!! 🤍🤍🤍
