Let me tell you what I’ve thought about this Mother’s Day. • I’ve thought about how much I love my living daughter and how much I miss and still grieve my daughter in heaven. I’ve thought of the couples I worked with whose mom passed away the last few months, the couples who’ve shared their pregnancy loss with me, the couples who were thrilled to have their kids in their wedding and in the videos and photos to look back on.

Nothing seemed quite right to post to cover all the feelings of today, so I want to share this benediction from Tylnn & Ben’s wedding. I filmed their wedding a week after loosing my baby girl, and this somehow was exactly what I needed to hear.

Who says a small wedding doesn’t have to feel grand? I am forever awed by the STUNNING floral designs created for this styled shoot to transform into a dreamy wedding backdrop. Such artistry!

“Maaaan, your dad almost got me.” I caught Greg on mic as he and Haleigh walked back up the aisle. You can totally tell in this clip. Which, I will forever be obsessed with this part of their wedding video. • The look Greg has when he sees Haleigh, the look he has when he locks eye with her dad, the way Haleigh looks at her dad as he wipes away a tear… it’s just everything.
