CHAPTER 17🖤...

To wake up this morning to 17 years of marriage is truly a blessing. This year has been a year of emotions for everyone....highs and lows. With God we have been able to sustain and stay grounded. There is no other person I would want to be with during this time. So many marriages have been challenged and attacked. I can honestly say I have never felt more close and connected to my husband than now. We are often asked how do we do it as a married couple that works together in business and at home. My only answer to that is our foundation is God. There are good days and there are bad days. We are not perfect in anyway. We have our fights and we have our love nights 😉 But what we have most of all is an understanding of coming back together and writing our wrongs. Trouble only comes so you can overcome it and you can use another promise of God to show the world that God is real. Everyday of our marriage we are determined and equipped to win. We are growing daily in our marriage and neither one of us takes our journey for granted. I am his best friend and he is mine and we know that God has us. This has been the best 17 years of my life because it has allowed me to grow as a woman, as a wife, as a mother and friend. My advice to any couple is to use your platform to bless others and to keep God as the foundation and the final authority. Remove the “I” for “YOU” and make sure that you are keeping your mate happy and I guarantee you that they will keep you happy in return.
17 years in this game and I’m looking forward to 17×100 more.
