Want in on a secret? Your venue coordinator is NOT your wedding coordinator. The venue coordinator’s job is the venue, to ensure that everything you need from them (whether it is just the space or as well as some rental items and catering/bar) is correct and ready to go. It is not their job to ensure that vendor contracts are accurate, to create a timeline for you, to run the ENTIRE wedding day, and pretty much anything outside of what the venue is providing you with. This is why you need a wedding coordinator or full planner for your wedding day. Our job is literally to take care of everything, including what the venue needs to ensure that they are all good to go. We want to make wedding day easy for you and for your vendors so that the perfect wedding day can happen.
