Five years ago, I made this thing official. And over the course of these five years, I've had the absolute pleasure of coordinating for incredible people in beautiful places. All of my gigs have come from word of mouth, and I can't tell you how grateful I am for those who recommended me to be a part of their big life moments.

While running this business, I've also been running full speed as a mom, a full-time corporate gal, a beginner investor, and a part-time student.

I'd be doing myself, my family, and my clients a disservice if I didn't recognize the need to take a step back, take a breath, and recharge as I think about what's next.

To my clients, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me.

To the vendors I've worked with, you're simply the best, and I know who I'm calling for my personal events.

To my son and family, I'm incredibly excited to slow down and make more memories. 🫶🏼

We're going ALL IN celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Ham! It was a day filled with love, laughter, and tears.

Colin and Samantha, thank you for trusting Taking it From Here to execute your beautiful vision! ❤️ You two were so fun to work with!

I can't wait to see every moment captured through the lens of Just Peachy Photography including the perfect pair's nods to their love for gambling and their adorable pup.

As a coordinator, Space Coast Weddings made the timeline a breeze and we worked together to surprise the Bride and Groom with an epic Groom's "Best Fran" toast with a rap twist to Usher's Yeah! It was amazing.

This was my first time to The Vineyards at Black Willow. Their property is truly stunning! And they do more than just weddings. Check them out!

It was also my first time working with 56 Chef Mike Cantaloupe for catering. Find him frequently at Dirty Oar Beer Company for some dang good BBQ! 😋

Speaking of good food, The Goat & Block Charcuterie set up beautiful charcuterie that was munched on all night long.

The gals with Sweet Southern Sass had the bridal party so glam (thanks for the hairspray for my slick back pony 😄).

And did you know you can rent flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms

Also! Can't forget the team from River Lanes Family Entertainment Center that was behind the bar. With all the vendors involved, it truly felt like a family affair.

and that they did! What a party!

Looking back on 2023, it was a record year for Taking it From Here! ✨

4 Weddings
2 Baby Showers
1 Celebration of Life
1 Engagement Party
1 Website Rebrand (mine!)

I fully planned three of those events, while coordinating the others. Although 8 events might not seem 'that big,' it becomes significant when you consider that I also graduated this year with my Master's in Communications from UCF while holding down a full-time job.

I'm not going to say 2024 will be even better than this year because I want to be very intentional with where I'm spending my time and energy especially when it comes to my family. 🫶🏼

Thank you to my 2023 clients for trusting me and being THE BEST clients to work with. And a special thank you to my sidekick, Sophie! I couldn't have pulled it off without her.

Kasim & Leah's Engagement Party 🤍✨

Love was in the air last night as family and friends came together to celebrate Kasim and Leah. While I usually just coordinate events, it was an absolute pleasure planning this soirée from beginning to end.

Can we talk about the renovation at Rockledge Country Club. 😮‍💨🔥 Stunning.

It's always a pleasure working with Patricia and Xavier at the club. And Michelle and Robin provides the best service and drinks behind the bar. 🥂

Crown of Flowers nailed the vision with these gorgeous flowers. I couldn't stop looking at them! 🤌🏽

Last thing! That. Photo. Wall. 😍 When I tell you I have talented clients, I'm not kidding! The wall with the jaw-dropping engagement photos by The Deans Photography made such a statement when you walked into the venue. All hand crafted by Leah, her family, and friends.
