Our 2026 festival season officially kicks off Memorial Day Weekend at the legendary Berea's National Rib Cook-Off & Beer Fest!

Today is the final day to grab a seat, smell the smoke, and eat BBQ inside the restaurant.
After today, **Swine BBQ officially transitions to a catering, concessions, and events–only operation.

This place has been home to:
• First-time customers who became regulars
• Long lunches that turned into long stories
• Packed rib days and sold-out nights
• A whole lot of smoke, sweat, and smiles

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who walked through these doors, brought friends, left reviews, waited patiently, and supported us through it all.

We’ve gotten a lot of great questions since our announcement, so here’s a quick breakdown 👇

Are you closing?
Nope, Swine BBQ is not actually closing. We’re transitioning away from dine-in service and focusing 100% on catering, festivals, and concessions.

Why are you leaving the restaurant location?
The short answer: it’s not how most people get our BBQ anymore.
High rent + a dining room we don’t need = less efficient. Moving to a mobile prep-and-production model lets us:
• Focus on quality and consistency
• Lower overhead
• Put more energy into events and catering

Will the food be the same?
Absolutely. Same smokers. Same recipes. Same meats. Same sauces.
The only thing changing is where you get it.

Can I still get Swine BBQ for my party or event?
Yes — and now it’s even easier. We cater:
• Graduation parties
• Weddings & receptions
• Corporate lunches
• Backyard parties
• Fundraisers & community events

After a lot of thought (and a lot of smoke), we’re making a big move.

Swine BBQ is transitioning away from a traditional brick-and-mortar restaurant and going ALL IN on what we do best:
👉 Festivals & events
👉 Catering
👉 Concessions & mobile BBQ**

📅 Our final day of dine-in service will be May 16th.
We’d love to see you in the shop one last time before we hit the road full-time.

Why the change?

Because the way people enjoy BBQ has changed — and honestly, this model just makes more sense.
We're stepping away from a high-rent retail location and focusing on a model that allows us to grow, stay efficient, and serve more people than ever before.
