Last weekend we had the honor of celebrating a truly special milestone. Our founder, Kim, and her husband, Jerry, hosted their 50th wedding anniversary here at Sage.

It was especially meaningful to gather in the historic farmhouse they’ve lovingly restored over the past 20 years, the same place where two of their children have also been married.

The evening was full of joy, stories, and the warmth of family. It was a beautiful reminder of all the love that has been shared within these walls. Swipe to see some snapshots of their celebration (as well as their wedding photo from 1975!).

When creativity and celebration meet, magic happens. For Cara’s baby shower here at Sage, her sister Jayna designed a Build-A-Bug Workshop—a sweet DIY activity where guests crafted paper bugs for a garland to brighten the nursery. Simple materials, a thoughtful idea, and lots of laughter made it such a charming way to gather and create together.

Check out our sculpture inspired by my Granfather Sage! 🌿

We commissioned this on an oak tree at our first farmhouse back in 1999. We sold the property in 2004 but the developer told us he would keep the farmhouse and the sculpture for the proposed development. After 5 years we realized the sculpture was going rot! So my husband went in the middle of the night (on Christmas Eve), chopped down the tree, and gave it to me for Christmas! Now the sculpture lives at the exit of the property where Granpop Sage can wave goodbye to all our guests 👋🤍
