Tomorrow will be the last day to come out to the zoo for our closing sale/free day.

We are down to the last few animals still available for adoption

If you’re looking for an aquarium or custom enclosure for your reptiles or amphibians, we have many smaller to mid-sized available for free and some very heavily discounted larger aquariums and enclosures.

If you’re working on construction projects at your home and would like free lumber, we have several walls from reptile rooms available for free that might need some dismantling, but are cut to size for a trailer.

We also have all varieties of odds and ends from the zoo, including some gift shop items including many puzzles and dinosaurs, loads of artificial plants and trees, driftwood, shelves, cabinets, and displays, live plants, reptile tools and water bowls. Make an offer and it’s probably yours.

There will also be many high end, dinosaur statues available for sale, as well as a few fossils.

As we are in the home stretch of clearing out of the mall, we have a few animals still up for adoption and we have some aquariums for free, and free gift shop shelves, free glass panes and a few large enclosures for sale. We will be at the zoo on Saturday 26th 10am - 5pm for anyone wanting to stop by and pick up any of the free items. More pictures of the free stuff will be posted next week. Animals needing homes are Black and White Tegu, Corn Snake, Carpet Python, Tiger Ratsnake, Malayan Softshell Turtle, Mexican Giant Musk Turtle and Goliath Tarantula. Message for more info!

A few more items that are for sale on Sunday. We will also that some of the 2x4s in a pile, free for the taking. The wood is from our stands and has nails and screws in it and some are painted but good for little projects. More wood will be available next month as we take down the rest of the exhibits.

We are having another sale on used aquariums and enclosures this Sunday 23rd from 11am - 3pm. We will have a few smaller used aquariums for free. Sticks and rocks are free. Fake trees are $15-25 each.

It’s moving day for some of our big animals!!! A question we get asked a lot this last month is where are the big animals going? This morning, some of the alligators, snapping turtles, snakes and monitor lizards were loaded up and are now traveling to New Hampshire where they will be living at the Living Shores Aquarium. One of our former keepers, Sarah, is now the Director there and is super excited to bring these animals to their new home.
