5 Questions Every Bride Should Ask Before Booking a Vendor

Planning your dream wedding starts with choosing the right people to bring it to life — and asking the right questions makes all the difference.
Save this list and take it with you to any wedding show, venue tour, or consultation.

1️⃣ What’s included in your packages?
Every vendor structures things differently — get a clear breakdown so you can compare confidently.

2️⃣ What is your backup plan?
From weather to emergencies, you want vendors who are prepared for anything.

3️⃣ How do payments + contracts work?
Know your deposit, payment schedule, delivery timelines, and cancellation/reschedule policies.

4️⃣ How many weddings like mine have you done?
Experience in your style, size, and location matters a lot.

5️⃣ What makes you different from other vendors?
This helps you understand their personality, process, and whether they align with your vision.

VENDOR EDUCATION SERIES — Booth Flow Matters

A well-designed booth doesn’t just look pretty… it pulls brides in.
If your layout makes people hesitate, pause at the edge, or keep walking, it’s time for a reset. Here’s how to build a booth that feels welcoming, intentional, and easy for brides to explore. ↓

1️⃣ Feature a clear entrance
Avoid blocking the front of your booth. Keep the flow open and inviting.

2️⃣ Place your feature wall at the back
Your photos, florals, backdrop, or samples should draw guests into your space — not stop them at the aisle.

3️⃣ Create product + portfolio zones
Albums, prints, info cards, brochures, and your greeting position should all have their place.

4️⃣ Make browsing comfortable
Keep items at standing height and easy to flip through.
Comfort = longer browsing = more bookings.

First time at a wedding show? Here’s what to bring! VENDOR EDITION

We’ve all been there — that mix of excitement and what do I even pack?! 🤭
Whether it’s your first or fifth show, being prepared makes all the difference. Here’s a quick checklist every vendor should have handy before doors open:

1️⃣ Signage + Branding: Your banner, business cards, and pricing materials should clearly show who you are and what you offer.
2️⃣ Lead Capture Tool: Whether it’s a clipboard, QR code, or iPad form — collect those emails!
3️⃣ Giveaway or Freebie: Something small but memorable goes a long way (bonus if it’s on-brand).
4️⃣ Emergency Kit: Tape, scissors, extension cords, pens, snacks — trust us, you’ll thank yourself later.
5️⃣ Confidence + Smile: You’ve got this! Guests remember the energy more than anything else.

Save this post for your next show & tag a vendor who’s prepping for their first expo or who will be joining us for the 2026 show!

Your venue is one of the biggest pieces of your wedding day puzzle — and the coordinator is the expert who keeps it all running smoothly! Before you sign that contract or start building your timeline, here are 5 questions they wish you’d ask 👇

1️⃣ What time can vendors start setting up and breaking down?
2️⃣ Is there a backup plan for weather or power issues?
3️⃣ Who handles cleanup and trash removal?
4️⃣ Can we bring in outside vendors or are there preferred ones?
5️⃣ What restrictions should we know about (candles, confetti, sound limits, etc.)?

Little questions like these save big headaches later — and your coordinator will love you for thinking ahead 🤍

👻 A Haunted House, But… Wedding Show Edition

Because sometimes being a vendor at a wedding expo feels like its own kind of spooky story — from the couples who vanish after grabbing candy to the ones who “just want to look around.”

Here’s to every vendor who survived the chaos, powered through the Wi-Fi failures, and smiled through it all. 🖤

Have a fun and safe Halloween, friends! 🎃

Weddings in 2026 are all about intentional details, elevated ambiance, and personal expression. Here’s what we’re seeing on the horizon:

1. Drapery & Dreamy Textures
More than just “curtains” — using fabric as architecture: ceilings, tablescapes, entryways, layered fabrics — to soften spaces and add drama.

2. Luxury Craftsmanship & Artisan Details
Hand-painted linens, bespoke tableware, silk ribbons, rich fabrics (velvet, silk) and custom details that feel elevated and unique.

3. Rich Florals / Sculptural Arrangements
Oversized installations, 3D elements, “art meets nature” styling, organic forms, mixed textures, asymmetry.

4. Bold Color Pops & Non-Traditional Palettes
Muted neutrals with accent colors, moody florals, non-white bridal colors (soft blues, pinks, etc.).

5. High Necklines, Capes & Architectural Gowns
Bridal fashion trends lean toward structured, editorial silhouettes: high necks, capes, detachable elements, embellishments.

6. Non-Traditional & Personalized Attire
Colored gowns, jumpsuits, separates, unique fabrics — couples expressing more individuality.

7. Unconventional Venues & Immersive Spaces
Think art galleries, industrial spaces, gardens, experiences that feel intimate & story-driven.

8. Serpentine Table Layouts / Creative Floor Plans
Organic curves, fluid guest flow, layouts that break from rigid geometry.

9. Interactive Guest Experiences
Live art, custom cocktail stations, food experiences, dessert bars, participatory elements.

10. Sustainable & Local Focus
Eco-conscious florals, repurposing decor, sourcing locally, minimizing waste.

11. Stationery & Paper as Design Statement
Invitation suites become art, layered paper goods, tactile textures, custom maps.

12. “Non-Wedding” Vibe
Celebrations that feel less staged, more natural and fluid — making the whole day feel relaxed even though it’s planned.

13. Moody Lighting & Dramatic Ambience
Warm tones, layered lighting (candles, uplights, dramatic fixtures) to create atmosphere.

14. Embellishments & Texture on Gowns
Beading, woven appliqués, textural detail rather than purely smooth.
Which one of these would you like to see at your wedding?
