Hey everyone — I owe you a quick clarification.

Yesterday’s post caused some confusion and that’s on me. The wording made it sound like we were shutting down for good. We are absolutely not. I’m sorry for the alarm.

Here’s the simple version: the takeout counter at 460 High Street is closed for the next few weeks while we refresh the space and get things right. We’re coming back in early June, Tuesday through Sunday, with a focused menu and a dedicated team.

Every Thursday, before a single catering order leaves our kitchen, we package 36 scratch-made meals and set them aside.

Pot Pie. Beef stew. Mashed potatoes. The same food we serve our clients, made the same way, by the same hands.

Then Food For Free picks them up and gets them to people across Greater Boston who need a real meal. Not shelf-stable surplus. Real food.

This is The Neighbor Table. It is not a campaign. It is not seasonal. It is how we do business. 36 meals, every single week, no exceptions.
