Emerging Art Deco. This is the John W. McCormack U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, built in 1933. Taken from Post Office Square. Love the detail work of the era.

The Choate Bridge, Ipswich, MA 1764. That is one old bridge. It's a National Historic Civil Landmark. If you look closely, they added a 3' high stone wall at the top during construction. I guess they didn't think anyone would go off of it in a horse and carriage at night, until they started building it.
