DWCS Members,

Thank you for coming to the 2025 Family Day. It was a great day, beautiful weather and a welcomed sight to see the community coming together again.
We have an opportunity once again to perform at the City of Mechanicville’s Christmas Memorial Tree Lighting in the Park on December 6th at 5:00 PM. They are looking for a group of singers to lead the community in Christmas Carols. Unfortunately, the Mechanicville United Methodist Church is unavailable for a rehearsal on December 5th. Therefore, we will meet at the park on December 6th at 4:00 PM for a 1 hour rehearsal before the event. Since it is carols that are familiar to us all, a 1 hour rehearsal should be sufficient and we will sing acapella.
The next definite event would be for Family Day 2026, which will also be our 50th anniversary. I know the city enjoys having us along with them for the morning service and we can continue to do that with the singers that are available.
Please contact Wendy at 518-588-2235 or Terry at 518 -664-7154, or the DWCS page, with any questions.
Hope to see you all soon!

Thank you,

Wendy A Diaco
President, DWCS
