There’s nothing that beats the heat like a refreshing bevy…and on warm days like today we’re dreaming of signature cocktails. Having a signature cocktail (or two 😉) during your cocktail hour and reception is another place you can add your personal touch on your day!

One thing we will always recommend is a seating chart! While specific assigned seats aren’t a necessity, assigning tables has so many benefits. First and foremost your guests can feel comfortable - there’s no pressure for them to find a seat or make sure there are enough seats for their party. And on the vendor side of things, assigned tables help for knowing where family & friends are for events for the evening like maid of honor and best man toasts. There are so many ways to display a seating chart, what has been your favorite way to display seating?

Long gone are the days of wedding cakes…and we more than welcome the days of dessert bars full of sweet treats! Displays like this one from Rachel & Andrew’s big day are perfect for carrying on the tradition of cutting your wedding cake and at the same time having something sweet to share with all of your guests. And let’s not forget the four-legged star of the show of this dessert bar 😉

And we thought we’d seen it all! Last weekend was a first for us…bride & groom piñatas! Rachel & Andrew had their very own mini replicas at their reception & guests got to take a crack at their friends for a little adult treat. 😉 Personal touches like this are our favorite…they make each wedding so special!
