Spencer & Macey: May 30th

This weekend was full of my favorite wedding things: Woodlawn, Clients who were bridal party members and booked my services for their own wedding, TJ (enough said), the most delicious CAKE, oh and a DOUBLE HEADER event🥹

Spencer and Macey planned a sweet, simple, and fun wedding day. Everything was planned with intention to make the day enjoyable from their coffee date private vows, moments to themselves and rehearse, to their private last dance. Everyone was just blown away at how beautiful it came together.
I’d also like to thank Mother Nature for visiting us with her over the top wind and Alien Tape & Twine for holding the ceremony decor down for us 🤣💕

We’ve kicked off our May/June Wedding season with 2nd Frederick area wedding with EWE! What made the destination even sweeter is that the clients have become family to me and the honor of coordinating their wedding has meant so much to me!

Happy Mothers Day to all who celebrate today!

So many of my clients and vendor friends are all Moms who work hard to plan their special day! Clients become step moms, I get to see blended families become whole and it’s just so incredible to watch unfold 🥹💕

For a very long time- I struggled personally to celebrate this day because I had a little bit of imposter syndrome since I was a Bonus Mom. But being a full time bonus mom made me into an incredible Aunt, mom friend for everyone, and eventually Mama to my littlest!

This post is to validate no matter HOW you are a Mom, know you deserve the recognition and to be celebrated today!

I also want to send love and hugs to those who are struggling today because you aren’t celebrating with that special mom. Know your feelings are real and I hope today is gentle on you!
