Stew and Gertie making their morning rounds today! Spring is in the air today as we are hosting a writing retreat! We’ve spotted pheasant, geese, turkey, coyotes, eagles, vultures, rabbits, voles, groundhogs, squirrels and (according to the bird identification ap) 11 species of birds. Of course there are the bugs that we won’t get into detail about!
What a great weekend for the creative juices to be flowing!

We are always working at grooming trails, trimming brush and consistent land care but there is always space to sit in complete awareness of natures bounty in any season. The color of moss is so cheerful, the texture is like a soft pillow, and it simply lights up one’s energy! Birds of a feather flock together! This old boy appeared to be taking in the serenity of this wise old tree along with me. The old trees here tell stories if we stop to listen!

We are looking foward to the spring season! We’ve begun prepping trails and dusting off the patio! And… enjoying the past full moon. This image was snapped on the west side of the property. New hiking trails have been cut this weekend on this side as we head into spring retreat season!

I often hike here at Terramuse Wellness Sanctuary. It’s the best way to make sure everything is as it should be. Winter is such a great time to see animal tracks. This is a coyote print. We embrace the coyotes here. They are an important part of the ecosystem on the land. This one must be an elder: big print! We have eagles the often land in the pines just over the ridge by the main building. If you haven’t stopped by for a tour…reach out and we will schedule a visit for you!

One of our favorite retreat hosts is holding a special event here at Terramuse Wellness Sanctuary. I (Carrie) am personally attending. This is for anyone wanting to dip into writing a book, biography, poetry or anything similar. Learning the steps, how to get published and all the things that go with the process will be covered.
I’ve been quietly formatting a book. A genuine hard back book with a set of oracle cards. I’m looking forward to the assistance to see it through until it’s complete.
There are just a few spots left! Come play with words!📝

Before any event here at Terramuse Wellness Sanctuary there is much cleaning, arranging and setting up the space for each group to have the best experience possible. Today while there, I was bustling about and enjoying be able to open the windows and letting the fresh air into the space. I paused for a brief moment to thank this beautiful plant for blooming all winter long. Her blooms are truly amazing. This place is truly a gift for our community and the plants and land feel it and give back to us through the seasons.
Thank you to all who have passed through the doors to feel the embrace. So much more to come!

This beautiful little man is blessing us daily here at Terramuse Wellness Sanctuary. The air was warm earlier in the week and he was singing most of the afternoon💫
