This month, EMBER had the privilege of hosting the Alamance Chamber's ElevateHER entrepreneurs as they celebrated their 1-year anniversary of bringing together female founders, creatives, and business owners across Alamance County.

Over the past year, ElevateHER has created a space where women can share ideas, support one another through challenges, celebrate successes, and build meaningful business relationships. This anniversary gathering was a wonderful reflection of the community that has been built and the impact it continues to have on local entrepreneurs.

We were honored to celebrate Mtende Roll and the launch of her new book, When I Was A Little Girl, at EMBER.

Friends, family, supporters, and community members gathered to recognize not only this incredible accomplishment, but also the passion, creativity, and dedication that brought it to life. From meaningful conversations to the moving films produced by East Ventures Digital, the evening was a beautiful reminder of the power of storytelling and community.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing long weekend with family and friends! Please note that we will be CLOSED on Monday for Memorial Day, however, private office and unlimited coworking members are still welcome to come in and use the facility.

We’re looking forward to hosting United Way of Alamance County's Community Council luncheon, their signature monthly gathering where leaders from across Alamance County - business, nonprofits, government, education, and faith - come together to connect, collaborate, and create lasting community impact.

This year’s conversations center on four impact areas: Youth Opportunity · Financial Security · Healthy Community · Community Resiliency.
