There is something incredibly special about standing in front of a classroom at the very school where I once sat as a student.

This week, I had the privilege of teaching a new class of talented future estheticians the art and science of brow mapping and brow tinting. We didn’t just focus on technique—we focused on why. Learning how to assess face shape, natural brow shape, balance, symmetry, and color selection so every brow enhances a person’s unique features rather than following a one-size-fits-all trend.

And honestly? They did amazing. 👏

One of the biggest misconceptions about beauty services is that they’re simple. Great brows require observation, critical thinking, artistry, communication, and attention to detail. Watching students begin to connect those pieces and build confidence in their skills is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

What makes this experience even more meaningful is that I’m teaching at my alma mater. The techniques, mentorship, encouragement, and opportunities that were given to me helped shape my career, and now I have the privilege of paying that forward to the next generation of estheticians.

Every class reminds me that education doesn’t just build skills—it builds confidence, careers, and futures.

I’m excited to see what this group accomplishes. ✨

Part 3:

Some people are minimizing the importance of the PCOS to PMOS name change, but when you’ve been navigating this for years, you understand why progress matters.

This isn’t just about a new acronym.

It’s about acknowledging the complexity of women’s health conditions more accurately. It’s about women finally feeling represented in conversations that affect their everyday lives.

As a Licensed Master Esthetician, educator, and woman living with these experiences myself, I see firsthand how hormonal and metabolic conditions impact confidence, skin health, mental health, and self-image.

That’s why I speak about it.

Because helping women feel beautiful isn’t superficial to me. Sometimes beauty, education, and self-care become part of how women survive, heal, advocate for themselves, and reclaim who they are.

And I think that matters deeply.

Part 2:

Lately I’ve been having more and more conversations with women who feel dismissed, exhausted, and forced to advocate for themselves just to receive basic medical support.

That weighs heavily on me because I understand that frustration personally.

My business mission — empowering women through beauty, education, and self-care — was born from lived experience. Beauty was always a passion for me, but it became a mission after experiencing chronic women’s health conditions that changed the way I looked, felt, and recognized myself.

I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not feel like yourself anymore.

The difference is that I had tools many women don’t have access to yet. I had industry knowledge, education, and eventually licenses that helped me understand what was happening to my body and skin.

A lot of women are still searching for answers alone.

Part 1:

For many people, the name change from PCOS to PMOS may not seem important… but for women who have lived this experience, it means something.

For years, so many women have struggled to explain symptoms that never fully fit the name “Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.” The reality is that this condition impacts so much more than ovaries. It affects metabolism, hormones, inflammation, mental health, fertility, skin, hair, weight, and overall quality of life.

When I was diagnosed, I had to advocate for myself constantly. I knew something was wrong before anyone could explain it to me. That experience changes you.

So yes, words matter. Names matter. Recognition matters.

Because when women feel seen, research grows. Conversations grow. Support grows.

“Does your esthetician really love you if they don’t have Linder Health peels?” 😉💖

Traditionally, Memorial Day marks the end of “peel season” because increased heat and UV exposure can make many aggressive peels risky — especially for clients prone to hyperpigmentation.

But I don’t believe skin improvement should only happen a few months out of the year. I believe in progressive, pigment-safe treatments that support healthy skin year-round.

That’s one of the reasons I chose Linder Health for my practice in Tysons Corner. Their innovative peel technology allows me to target concerns like dullness, texture, acne, and hyperpigmentation while prioritizing skin health and minimizing unnecessary inflammation and downtime.

I want to offer my clients treatments that work with real life — busy schedules, outdoor events, vacations, workouts, and everyday responsibilities — without compromising their skin goals. Healthy skin and visible results shouldn’t be limited to just one season of the year.

Dull, dry, textured skin doesn’t always need aggressive treatment — sometimes it needs the RIGHT combination of modalities. ✨

My client wanted the instant smoothness and glow of dermaplaning, but I also wanted to support her skin health on a deeper level. So I paired her treatment with the Polite Peel to safely elevate her results while still respecting the skin barrier.

Together, this combination helped to:
• Remove dead skin buildup + improve texture
• Boost radiance and hydration
• Increase cellular turnover
• Support collagen + elastin production
• Target senescent (“zombie”) cells associated with aging skin
• Enhance overall skin function and product pe*******on

This is why advanced, intelligently formulated peel systems matter to me — they allow me to personalize treatments while still prioritizing barrier function, skin health, and long-term results.

Corrective skincare should be intentional, progressive, and personalized — not just aggressive.

Hero Peel by being named a finalist in the 2026 Skin Deep Readers’ Choice Awards for Favorite Chemical Peel honestly makes perfect sense to me.

When I was deciding what peel system to build my business around, Linder Health stood out for so many reasons. My clients in Tysons Corner, VA expect results, innovation, and treatments that fit into real life. With one of the most diverse populations in the country, I needed a peel system that could safely treat a wide range of skin tones and concerns without unnecessary trauma or downtime.

Many of my clients are busy professionals who want corrective results and healthy, radiant skin without having to put their lives on pause after a treatment.

What also drew me to this line was the focus on skin repair and regeneration, not aggressive peeling for the sake of peeling. The formulations align with how I approach skincare as a Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor: progressive treatments, barrier-conscious care, and long-term skin health. I love educating my clients about the clinical results and innovative delivery systems behind these peels so they understand not just what we’re doing, but why it works.
