There is something incredibly special about standing in front of a classroom at the very school where I once sat as a student.
This week, I had the privilege of teaching a new class of talented future estheticians the art and science of brow mapping and brow tinting. We didn’t just focus on technique—we focused on why. Learning how to assess face shape, natural brow shape, balance, symmetry, and color selection so every brow enhances a person’s unique features rather than following a one-size-fits-all trend.
And honestly? They did amazing. 👏
One of the biggest misconceptions about beauty services is that they’re simple. Great brows require observation, critical thinking, artistry, communication, and attention to detail. Watching students begin to connect those pieces and build confidence in their skills is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
What makes this experience even more meaningful is that I’m teaching at my alma mater. The techniques, mentorship, encouragement, and opportunities that were given to me helped shape my career, and now I have the privilege of paying that forward to the next generation of estheticians.
Every class reminds me that education doesn’t just build skills—it builds confidence, careers, and futures.
I’m excited to see what this group accomplishes. ✨
