My 43rd birthday! ✨

I wanted to serve barefaced Sailor Moon, elder millennial realness—and I think I understood the assignment. 🌙

I woke up to the beautiful sounds of nature and watched the sunrise over the lake. This weekend, I told someone how excited I am to get deeper into my forties. I’m just starting to really know me, and I really like her. I’m unapologetic about it.

I’m also thankful that staying hydrated, keeping up with a good skincare routine, and saying what’s on my mind are like a fountain of youth. 😌

43 and filler-free… at least for now. 🤣 🎉

That last clip went on for 29 minutes. Twenty-nine freaking minutes. 🤬

And we’re not even talking about the time I had the camera facing the right way, forgot to hit record, or pressed the button twice. 😤

I was trying to film myself creating my personal custom foundation formulas. If you’d seen what I meant to record, there would’ve been beautiful rainbow swirls, skincare additions, ingredient details—and me formulating my foundation from scratch.

Instead, real life showed up.

I was getting ready for a work trip, answering a client who was coming to pick up her foundation, trying to remember to check on a friend overseas, and thinking about picking up my son from school in an hour. I hadn’t packed. I had two loads of laundry to do. I didn’t know what we were having for dinner. And at 3:15, I realized I might not have enough foundation to get through the weekend.

Also, I have ADHD and forgot to take my medication that morning. 🙄

Long story short: I do a lot in an average day.
