Lincoln Middle-High School Visual Art Programs

Lincoln Middle-High School Visual Art Programs Our goal is to provide Lincoln's young artists with opportunities to participate in activities that promote visual literacy and inspire artistic expression.

The National Art Honor and National Junior Art Honors Societies emphasize outstanding artistic scholarship and service to the school and community through the development of artistic endeavors together with a strong moral character. By exemplifying these standards, the individual student members of the society promote an awareness of art and become active participants in the education process at L

incoln and in their local and extended art community. We are charter # 5607130 Lincoln High School National Art Honors Society and Charter #5693050 Lincoln Middle School National Junior Art Honors Society.

April 30th Lincoln held its 12th Annual Pre-Piccolo Spoleto Student Art Exhibit at the McClellanville Arts Council to celebrate the accomplishments of our STEAM, Earth and Fire, Face Jug Collaborative. Science, Technology, Engineering, English, Art, Math and History teachers and community members and experts came together to teach students from Lincoln, Saint James Santee and CREECS. The authentically created face jugs were well received and the artist statements were a big hit for our viewing audience. The Lincoln Steel Band Performance wowed our audience before the exhibit, and the Lincoln Middle-High School culinary art students had a record turn out for their amazing food. Thank you everyone who attended our special event. It makes a difference having parents and community stay involved in the arts, we appreciate your continued support.
