When I was 19, fresh out of culinary school, I found myself cooking for my grandfather while he was going through chemotherapy treatments.
At the time, I was simply trying to help someone I loved. I wanted to make sure he had nourishing meals that were comforting, appealing, and tailored to what he could tolerate on any given day.
I never imagined that experience would become one of the main pillars of my business.
Today, as both a chef and Registered Dietitian, I have the privilege of supporting individuals and families navigating cancer treatment, surgery recovery, rehabilitation, chronic illness, and new diagnoses. Through therapeutic meal delivery and outpatient nutrition support, my goal is to make healing a little easier and take one less thing off someone's plate.
Food is more than nourishment. It's comfort. It's dignity. It's care. And sometimes, it's one less thing to worry about during an incredibly difficult season of life.
If you know someone going through a health challenge, consider gifting them a week of meals. It can make a bigger difference than you might realize. 💚
