ITS TIME FOR A FIRST!

The Mays Landing Fire Department is excited to announce our first-ever Beef and Beer fundraiser with the help of the Ye Olde Mill Street Pub on June 1st! Tickets can be picked up at the firehouse between 6-8pm Tuesday nights or at the door the day of if tickets are purchased through our department Venmo.

*When purchasing tickets through Venmo, please specify in the Venmo comment area how many tickets you are buying so we can keep an accurate headcount.

The Mays Landing Fire Department deeply regrets to announce the unexpected passing of Robert A. Hamilton, an active life member who served with the department for an incredible 51 years.

Bobby was a Chauffeur the department could count on and held several ranks, including Chief, Assistant Chief, and Captain. Last year, he received a 50-year service award for his unwavering dedication to our department and the communities he served. At events and while responding to incidents, Robert was always glad to be on the road, serving the community and enjoying time with fellow department members.

The department mourns this significant loss. Robert was a source of vast knowledge who generously shared it with others. He was indeed an all-around great guy.

Please keep the Hamilton Family in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral arrangements will follow soon.

This evening, the Department responded to cover the island of Longport while they battled a multi-alarm house fire. The crew of Engine 18-12 was relieved after 2 hours.
