This style of shot is becoming more popular in wedding photography. I like it for two reasons. I like it aesthetically, it’s a cool shot. But I also like it because a photo is worth 1000 words and this is how your wedding day can feel. A blur, come and gone too fast.

Here are a few tips to make sure you soak up every moment on wedding day!

1. Don’t drink too much.
2. Practice being present-you can do this simply by connecting with each of your senses.
3. Make sure you have eaten and stay hydrated.
4. This is a big one, take some alone time with your new spouse. You can have a private moment after the ceremony or plan for a private dinner, but you need some time to just “be married” before you are pulled in all the directions.
5. Finally, of course this one is on the list, hire a wedding day professional. They will ensure everything is in place and that you don’t have to lift a finger!
