IT’S TIMEEEEEE🎶 💐
The time is officially coming where you’re going to be able to order some “Debbie’s Designs” online to be shipped to your door!! We have already had a few centerpieces ship out to happy customers and a bouquet was just done last week as well! These beauties are for our own front porch, but I had to share them!! I’ve been getting so many messages on when we are launching my silk designs and it is right around the corner!! Stay tuned to get some southern centerpieces, prom bouquets, home decor and more that will last with your memories! 💐 🩷

Happy Valentine’s Week to y’all!! My first Valentine’s in 48 years that I am able to relax and enjoy it all!! Just as a reminder for all of our customers as we have been getting a bunch of messages to this page, Dani-elle’s page and my cell phone asking to place orders or if we are still at the shop. As of November 2025, we sold our building, we are retired and in Nashville TN! We are no longer in Jermyn in any way, shape or form. I am doing silk flowers online now (stay tuned for the official launch) but we are no longer serving up our fresh flowers in NEPA! We so appreciate all of our beautiful customers over the past 48 years and truly take it as a compliment that y’all are still reaching out! Again, you can find my silk designs soon for proms, weddings, custom arrangements and more!! Back to enjoying the relaxation during valentines here in Nashville!! ❤️🩷

Hey y’all!! Dani-elle here!! Just a fun update and post. Mom is planning up lots of fun floral designs for y’all to get some of her silk creations even in her retirement due to popular demand. (Some have even gone out to customers already!) Her and my Dad are loving retirement and living in Tennessee and Matt and I are loving TN life too! I know it’s semi season still rolling through with all of that snow for y’all back in PA, so I figured it would be fun to share some throwback photos of some of my Mom’s one of a kind bouquets. Can you find any of yours?! A bunch of y’all have been asking for some tutorial videos from my Mom too, so stay tuned to this page for that too!! Much love to you all!!

You can take the florist out of the flower shop, but it doesn’t mean I’ll stop creating 😂 We are settling into our beautiful new home in Nashville and although Basil and I are thoroughly enjoying retired life already, you know I’m already decorating and creating. Over 40 bows for one of our trees!! Stay tuned to this page for fun ways in the future you’ll be able to get some original “Debbie Designs” shipped to you and a lot of you have been asking for things like fun tutorials on things like bows, so maybe I’ll do a fun video of that one day!! Sending lots of southern love to all of our beautiful customers from over the years!! I look forward to keeping in touch here on socials!! 💐 🩷

After 48 years of business, today is officially our first day of retired!! The doors at Debbie’s Flower Boutique are officially closed and we can not thank our customers enough. Thank you for believing in the 17 year old that had a big dream of owning her own business. It is because of all of you that I have had the success that I have had the past 48 years and was able to live out that dream. It has truly been mine and Basil’s pleasure being there for each and every one of you through both the happy and not so happy of times in life with your floral needs. Thank you for trusting in us for all of those times. You know I love to design, so stay tuned to this page to find out how after we get settled in our new home in TN how you’ll be able to get some of my artificial designs for proms, your home and more. Thank you again for giving us the beautiful life that we have had here in Jermyn in the big blue building on the corner. We are so excited for this next chapter for our family in Nashville, TN!!!!

Had to share some of the semi flowers that are heading out today for Carbondale’s semi this weekend!! These are Debbie’s last semi flowers while here in the big blue building on the corner in Jermyn! But, there may be a way for you to still get her creations here in PA all the way from TN! Look out for her website opening for silk flowers for prom, centerpieces, cemetery pieces and more that can be shipped right to your door! After 48 years, Debbie is ready to retire, but still wants to do what she loves to some extent and help y’all still sparkle and shine, in a silk flower kind of way 😉 Stay tuned!! Our last day here at the shop will be November 19th!

🎉EXCITING AND BIG ANNOUNCEMENT🎉

In 1977, at just 17 years old, I opened Debbie’s Flower Boutique Inc. with little more than a dream, a deep love for flowers, and a big heart for people. I never imagined that this little shop would grow into nearly five decades of creativity, connection, and community.

Over the past 48 years, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of your most treasured life moments—weddings, birthdays, new babies, goodbyes, and everything in between. I never could have dreamed the little shop I started as a teen would grow into something with thousands of customers over the years from both near and far, even other countries. It has been an absolute honor to help you express your joy, your sympathy, your gratitude, and your love—one bouquet at a time.

In 1995, I married the love of my life, Basil, and that same year, he joined me in the shop. We worked side by side, pouring our hearts into every arrangement and cherishing every customer who walked through our doors. Then in 1996, our beautiful daughter Dani-elle became part of the team. As a young girl, she greeted customers, answered phones, and filled our days with her bright spirit. Many of you watched her grow—not just into a kind and talented woman, but into a Country Artist with a powerful voice and an even bigger dream.

Now, as I step into retirement, Basil and I, along with our daughter Dani-elle, her fiancé Matt, and our little pup Tasha, are moving to Nashville, Tennessee. Basil and I are so excited for this next chapter together and we are excited to be there continuing to support Dani-elle as she continues her musical journey, and we couldn’t be more proud or excited to see where her path leads. It’s a new adventure for our family, filled with love, hope, and endless possibility. You may still even be able to get some of my designs as I am thinking of doing an online shop with unique silk arrangements for things like prom and such that I can do on my own time for my own enjoyment, so stay tuned for that!!

Our final day of business will be November 20th, 2025, marking the close of an unforgettable chapter.

To all of our wonderful customers: thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your most meaningful moments. Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, and your friendship. Debbie’s Flower Boutique Inc. was never just a flower shop—it was a home, and each of you was a part of it.

Though the doors are closing on the big blue building on the corner of Washington Ave, the memories and love will forever bloom in our hearts.

As many of you know by now, my Mom is retiring after 48 years in business. She started as a 17 year old with a dream and that dream was always to one day end up in the big building on the corner on Main Street in Jermyn. After about 16 years of building her business elsewhere in town, she made that dream a reality. This building has so much history and I wanted to share a little bit about it and my Mom’s story in it for 32 years and will probably have more stories like this to share as yall know I am a story teller. It is now ready for its next adventure as my parents have the building for sale and the possibilities with it are endless. If it’s you that wants to make this your next dream or you know someone who does, share it with them. Retail, office space, bakery, storage, apartments.
