Last year our pepper plants were producing peppers faster than we could keep up. This year? Nothing. Barely growing, looking sad, and leaving us scratching our heads.

Well… mystery solved. 🕵️‍♀️🌱

Turns out these absolutely humongous, nasty grubs had decided our garden was an all-you-can-eat buffet. They were happily chewing away underground while we wondered what we were doing wrong.

Lesson learned: sometimes the problem isn’t above the dirt—it’s under it.

The peppers may have lost this round, but the grubs have officially been evicted from our little hobby garden. 🌶️💪
