🌶️ As we continue finalizing the 2026 Sky High Aerospace Expo schedule, we’ve made the decision that the Chili Cook-Off will not be part of this year’s event lineup.

⚡ **IN-KIND SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT: AMP** ⚡

We’re excited to recognize **AMP — Airshow Management Platform** as an **In-Kind Sponsor of the 2026 Sky High Aerospace Expo & Fly-In!**

AMP is a technology platform being built specifically for the airshow industry — bringing the people, planning, operations, resources, finances, and communication behind an event together in one place.

And this year, **Sky High 2026 will be putting AMP to work.**

Behind every aircraft you see in the sky is an enormous amount of coordination happening on the ground. AMP is helping support that effort by giving our team the tools to better organize, manage, and execute one of the most complex events we’ve ever produced.

**Plan. Manage. Execute. Amplify.**

We’re proud to have AMP supporting Sky High and even more excited about what this technology could mean for the future of airshows.

🌶️🔥 INTRODUCING THE FIRST-EVER SKY HIGH CHILI COOK-OFF! 🔥🌶️

Do you make great chili?

Or do you know someone who does?

As part of the 2026 Sky High Aerospace Expo & Fly-In, we’re excited to launch the very first Sky High Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Laurinburg-Maxton Airport!

Because this is our first year, we wanted to make it fun, welcoming, and easy for anyone to be part of.

That means:

✅ FREE registration
✅ Individuals or groups welcome
✅ No cook-off experience required
✅ People’s Choice + Judged Awards
✅ Prizes, trophies, and bragging rights
✅ Looking for around 10 great entries

You don’t have to be a professional chef.

You don’t have to be part of a restaurant or organization.

You can enter as an individual, with family, friends, coworkers, your business, your church, your department, your club — whoever wants to join in and have some fun.

This cook-off is all about community, good food, friendly competition, and creating another great experience at Sky High.

And the best part?

The public gets to be part of it too. Attendees will have the chance to sample entries and vote for their favorite in our People’s Choice Award.

So if you’ve got a chili recipe people rave about — or you know someone who does — we want to hear from you.

🌶️ Spots will be limited, and we’re aiming for around 10 great entries for our inaugural year.

❤️ PROUDLY PRESENTED BY SCOTLAND HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ❤️

When we say the Sky High Aerospace Expo is about community, we mean it — and we could not be more proud to have Scotland Health Care System standing beside us as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 Sky High Aerospace Expo & Fly-In!

Scotland Health isn't simply a healthcare provider in our community. They are a community-owned, not-for-profit organization that has spent roughly 80 years caring for the people of this region, investing in its future, and finding new ways to make world-class healthcare accessible close to home.

And people far outside Scotland County are taking notice.

🏆 One of only three North Carolina hospitals named to Becker’s 2026 “Great Community Hospitals” list
🏆 Named to the Forbes 2026 Top Hospitals list
🏆 One of only four finalists nationwide for the American Hospital Association’s 2026 Rural Hospital Excellence in Innovation Award
🏆 More than 1,500 team members serving our region
🏆 $65 million invested in expanded surgical and imaging capabilities
🏆 The first healthcare provider in North Carolina to introduce the Mako 4 robotic-arm surgical system

But what means the most to us isn't a list of awards.

It's seeing an organization that believes, just like we do, that where you live shouldn't determine the opportunities, resources, or quality of care available to you. Scotland Health continues to invest in rural healthcare, workforce development, community outreach, and innovative programs that bring care directly to the people who need it.

That is the kind of organization we're proud to put at the very top of Sky High.

To the doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, support teams, leadership, and everyone throughout Scotland Health Care System — THANK YOU for believing in this event, believing in this community, and helping us create something that inspires the next generation.

🏕️ **CAMPING AT SKY HIGH!** ✈️

Planning to make a weekend out of the **Sky High Aerospace Expo & Fly-In**? We’ve got camping space available for you!

Whether you’re bringing an **RV, camper, motorhome, or tent**, you can stay right there with us and enjoy the full Sky High weekend experience. 🙌
