This isn't just another car show—it's your chance to be part of history as we launch the very first Sky High Car Show during the 2026 Sky High Aerospace Expo at Laurinburg-Maxton Airport.

⚠️ Only 200 vehicle slots are available for this first-year event.
Once they're gone, they're gone.

Here's what you need to know:

✅ Registration Fee: $40
✅ Includes TWO General Admission tickets to the Sky High Aerospace Expo (a value of $80!)
✅ Trophies and special recognition awards will be presented
✅ Judging categories are still being finalized as we work through event logistics
✅ When you register, you're reserving your vehicle's spot—not a specific category
✅ Categories will be assigned later and communicated to participants once finalized
✅ Detailed schedules, arrival instructions, judging times, and event information will be sent to registered participants as the event approaches

This year's show will bring together an incredible variety of vehicles displayed in the unique atmosphere of an active airport during one of the Southeast's most exciting aviation events. From classic cruisers and muscle cars to lifted trucks, customs, rat rods, and everything in between, we're building something special.

✈️ SKY HIGH AEROSPACE EXPO 2026: UNDERSTANDING THE WEEKEND SCHEDULE ✈️

We've received a lot of questions about whether Sky High is a one-day airshow or a weekend event.

The answer is: Both!

The main airshow takes place on Saturday, October 17, but Sky High Aerospace Expo is a three-day aviation weekend experience with activities happening throughout the weekend.

📅 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16

🎓 STEM Experience Day (Invitation Only)
✈️ Airshow Rehearsals (Invitation Only)

Please note that the STEM program and airshow rehearsals are not open to the general public and are reserved for approved schools, educational organizations, participants, and event personnel.

Most people will come to Sky High expecting aircraft, engines, smoke, and excitement.

What many of them won’t realize is that a single conversation, a single experience, or a single moment here could completely change the direction of a young person’s life forever.

That is why Sky High exists.

The 2026 Sky High Expo is proud to operate as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on aviation education, community engagement, and inspiring the next generation through STEM.

While many people recognize Sky High for the aircraft, performances, and excitement of airshow weekend — our mission has always gone far beyond entertainment.

At the heart of that mission is our STEM Day.

On Friday, October 16, students and families will have the opportunity to experience aviation up close through interactive exhibits, aircraft displays, hands-on activities, and direct exposure to the people who live and work within the aerospace industry every single day.

But while aviation serves as the centerpiece of our event, our STEM mission extends far beyond the flightline.

From automotive careers and public works to emergency services, engineering, skilled trades, logistics, technology, and countless other professions — we believe young people deserve opportunities to explore every path that helps keep our communities, industries, and country moving forward.

For some young attendees, it may simply become a fun and unforgettable experience.
