Happy Fall y’all! Hope you’re enjoying this spooky season with fall flowers, pumpkins and your favorite fall beverage! Did you know growing flowers isn’t just for spring and summer? A good portion of planting and prep goes into fall planting as well.
Some of our current prep involves planting out our cold hardy seedling which includes:
* Echinacea Paradiso Super-Duper from
* Canterbury Bells from
* Leprechaun Gold Columbine from
* Salvia rose rhapsody, swan lake and sky dance from
* Multiple varieties of snapdragons from
* Feverfew varieties Tetra and Snowball from &
* Sweet William from and
We plant these cold hardy seedlings out as the heat of the summer lessens and the cool fall mornings approach. This gives our babies time to establish a healthy root system that will help it survive over the cold month of winter. It also helps those plants get a head start on the 2026 season and come spring these babies will have massive root systems that will push out bigger, taller and more robust blooms than if we were to start them in the winter/early spring.
We tuck them in how and let them do their thing and will be blessed with early blooms in our 2026 season.
