During Women’s History Month, I want to take a moment to honor someone who means so much to me, my dear friend Tammy DeBoer president of Harris Teeter.
Tammy is the kind of woman whose presence makes a difference wherever she goes. Her strength, grace, and unwavering kindness are qualities that truly inspire me. She leads not only with professionalism and dedication, but with a genuine heart for people. That’s something you don’t see every day.
But what makes Tammy even more special to me is the beautiful friendship we share. She is loyal, thoughtful, and the kind of friend who shows up with love, encouragement, and sincerity. In a world that can sometimes move too fast, Tammy reminds me how powerful it is to simply be a good human being.
Women’s History Month is about celebrating women who make an impact , not just in big moments, but in the everyday ways they lift others up. Tammy does that effortlessly.
