Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Thank you to our staff that truly have not stopped. Thanksgiving may be one day lived, but it is months of preparation setting up computer systems, setting up shelving in the refrigerated trucks, tagging and cleaning turkeys, preparing sides and individual dinners there are so many facets that it would break the average person as looking at a stack of slips after six consecutive 16 hour days and feel like we haven’t put a dent in them to reach the finish line. Day 1 smooth sailing yesterday. Today however, at lunch time it was like everyone was lining up to see a headliner band at Gillette Stadium. For those that got caught in those peak rush hours I hear you out trust me no one takes it more personally than I do. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars each and every year implementing infrastructure and new steps to truly be our best so we can service each and every one of you timely and accurately. The day I stop learning is the day I’m going to hang it up for the last time. We will never stop learning and investing in what we do and what we offer as that trust you give us to make all of these orders does not go unnoticed. I had someone the other day come up to me and say how much business can you really do out of that hole in a wall as he has been trying to get an Italian sub, let today be a testament to what leaves this tiny footprint not just for Thanksgiving but recurring and daily it would boggle your mind. All I have ever sought to do from day one is work hard while building a brand and a team around me that emulates something to be proud of for each and every customer that visits whether it be takeout or catering. For those that waited today thank you I see you and will work even harder to make it that much better upcoming for the holidays and moving forward.
Thank you to Artisan Bake Shop for her tireless efforts with fulfilling our crazy stack of pie orders, they’re organized, thorough and humble to partner with
Thank you to PFG Taunton and my salesman Matt Oliveira who is actually retiring after decades of foodservice he truly is one of a kind and customer first. I’ve truly learned a lot from Matt and growing as a person he has always tried to see that we are our best even if it means he needs to meet a truck or drive it here himself he has always been beyond reliable, transparent and honest couldn’t have asked for a better person. I will miss him as 2026 brings him new adventures if anyone deserves it he does, thank you !
In closing, my staff truly all one of a kind. I can lead the way, but it is this crew that gets it done no matter what. All those several hundred turkeys that left the last two days are cleaned by Nick, it is no joke and something to see to believe he has it down to a science.
Enjoy your dinner table tomorrow and more important your family.
With thanks and gratitude,
-Corey
